Morning everyone. Yesterday was bad. I guess I have really hurt my ribs carrying those 2x10. Felt like I just got out of surgery. Ribs take a long time to heal. Got some sleep by putting a heating pad on me all night. Looks like we might get rain. TD have a safe day. Rex don't work to hard on that door.

Mike, sorry to hear you are feeling bad. You'll have to learn to ease into things instead of going full force. Puppies sure are cute and fat. Did you get any rain today. Thought we were going to get it was blowing and thundering and all we got was a sprinkle. Have been working with the new goats have 1 that is tame and will follow you around like a puppy wanted petted, and other three are skiddish but I can at least touch them now. Td is going to get home late tonight had to make 2 trips to Indy wasn't happy. Hope you get to feeling better

We didn't get a drop. Got hot. Tough break for TD. Having to make two trips there. He will be ready for the sack when he gets home. Take that one goat that like humans and put it in the bedroom with him. It will make him sleep like a baby.:

Not happenin' Mike. It rained yesterday from Chrisman,Il. to Indy--and spit here. Some places got over an inch, I guess someday we will too. Your at Champaign Gut? That will put some miles on the ranger. No road kills yesterday--varmits must have gottin' smarter. Off to Newton,Il. today---everyone take care---BYE BYE.

Rex and TD you guys are working to hard and to much. I think you should turn over all your coon dogs and guns to me so I can use them and they won't get cob webs on them from sitting.: Hope you guys are making it through the heat today. It is miserable out there.

miserable was right Mike,,I worked on a deck rail on the southside of a house today..AC feels mighty good tonight...storms firing up to the north ,northwest..hope it holds together till it gets here

Yes a good shower would be wonderful. Down at Newton today they disc down some tall grass so we would know where to drop pipe--it was like a desert, nothin' but dust. Our creeks have no water puddles anymore. Mike as dry as it is I don't even think my dogs could smell a track. Been lookin' out at work for tracks--- none even in the dust at the dumpster. Thats a free meal, birds hit it though.

Everybody says storms are coming. My buddy I hunt with called and told me to get ready it suppose to get down in the 60's at night again. I am waiting but not holding my breath.

The weather man said next week a high front is commin' in and cooler temps. Now if it would bring some rain also--- hang in there we'll get some relief one of these days. Have a good one.

Morning all Weather man says next chance of rain Thursday cross your fingers. Sure is nice this morning. Mike if your going to run dogs you'd better get good and rested up and don't forget not to over do. You don't want to get sick again. Have a nice day all.

If anybody goes huntin' in this drought, don't forget to take plenty of water. Nice and cool today--1 big road kill near Scotland,Il. thats east of Chrisman,Il. poor old coon. Any of you fellers goin' to Autumn Oaks?

I thought about it but it don't look good right now. It is 71 degrees. Went out and turned the fans off tonight. The dogs will be cool enough.
