Sounds like good eatin Reb. I have been as high as 215 eatin Cheeze Burgers and fries and all that other good tastin stuff...but now-days I just eat that at family or friends gathering or in times of need. Sometimes have to eat fast food when in a hurry. Never over-do it anymore, Have been at or about 185 for several years now. I'm bout 6' 1". I think that puts me within the guidelines.

how is the weather down there? it has started to get hot here again. rained for about 5 minutes last night. i believe it is to cool down again over the weekend.

We've had cooler daytime temps the last few days, about 90. Has been in the mid 60's for lows. No rain at all. Next week shows some promise for us according to the w/man. It's 71 at this hour.

How's the lady doing?

We haven't had duck in a while. Someone gave us from freshly killed ducks some years ago. As I recall it was no easy task getting them ready to cook and then I didn't really care for the taste of them. Not worth the trouble to me. I don't have a recipe for it but as with everything you can find a recipe online to suite your own fancy I'm sure. It might make a lot of difference according to the way it's done. Check it out! Just google it!

I KILLED THREE CANADIAN GEESE ONE WEEKEND DOWN THERE AND I WAS GOING TO GRIND THE BREASTS UP AND MAKE JERKY OUT OF THEM.

I am SO glad you guys don't like it either! Yeak. Waste of time! I wish they wouldn't kill them, tho.

Goose....now I can cook that! We grill the breast with bacon and peppers/onion. My fav for goose if fried tho. I cut it into small peices and fry that puppy up. I mean while it's still warm! The best! Not tough just sweet meat!

Hope all is well! My coffee is sure good this morning.

THE BEST RECIPE FOR DUCK GET A BIG ROASTING PAN PUT DUCK IN IT CLEAN THE FRIG OF ANY LEFTOVERS PUT THEM IN POT BAKE IN OVEN ABOUT 3 HR TAKE OUT LET COOL. THEN THROUGH WHOLE MESS OUT. HEAD FOR BURGER KING

I think we have the best chance for substantial rain the next few days that we've had in some time. Hopefully we will get it this time. Also we should have some more fall-like weather after the rains.
