a good guess Mr. Valentino, BUT ya won't win the prize for today, that big fella there is Beaver Creek Sir Patrick Henry ( AKA Knothead ) He belongs to my oldest son, Chad......... Ken and Roy Adkins, Chad and myself was trying to give him a name driving back from A. O. last year and boy did we come up with some good ones LOL...... (Mr. Valetino you can only imagine with some of the names Roy came up with.....LOL) But Ken Adkins finally came up wth the name to suit him, after you see his ped. you'll know the name is very fitting for him!!!!! Mr. Valentino it just goes to show ya who's the brains behind this outfit!!!!!LOL.... (Don't tell him I said that!!!!) LOL..... But all joking aside that was a great trip to A. O. last year....... He's made a good looking dog! My sister's got a littermate male to him that sure favors his uncle Dually. Ben Franklin has produced some nice hounds.

you stroll back thru these 42 pages of pictures,pedigrees, and comments you will find a heck of a lot of info... I wish Elbert and Sarah would have lived longer to move their line further or at least wrote down what direction they envisioned making crosses into the future.... Seems no breeder does that, they keep it all"upstairs"... Maybe rightfully so... We can only speculate how they would have proceeded. Possibly he told Jess Rogers ?? Can't ask him either !!! I know that those dedicated to preserving these lines have done their level best and continue to do so... My hat is off to all of you !!!

I just got off the phone with Oscar Thomas. I like to talk with the fellows that have bred these dogs for years to get their views on crossing and outcrossing. Mr. Thomas gave me a few tidbets on breeding...

Bawls was a good lookin sucker at least I think so lol . He was all coondog no matter where you dropped him and always gave me his all.could show you how to run a cold track or a hot one and was about 110 bpm on tree .He went about 85 lbs . I currently have 2 males here off of Bawls for stud I just don't have the time right now to hit the hunts and promote them like I did Bawls I also have a doubled up Bawls male that will most likely be offered next year if he turns out like he is showing . I will get some new pics of Boomer and Bawls Again in a couple days but here is Arkie ,he favors Bawls the most in all ways

the first night I had him out he ran and treed with my Chloe gyp, he has NEVER showed any interest in a cage coon, but you can turn a cage coon loose (and not let him see it he will run and tree it by himself) the first 6 months I had him he was on fire!!!! The first part of summer he hit a cold spell (lost a fight with a mean ringtail) He's starting to come back around, took him out the other night with Blue IX he ran a coon with IX but the coon got up over a highwall on them...... He has a GREAT mouth, VERY short bawl on track LOL.... A hard chop mouth on the tree, no trouble around the house.....We like him alot, he's definitely NOT A CULL!!!!! I would of already been up that way but my aunt and uncle decided to move there bussiness down here. So now I have to wait till I can line up a good job lol and the way this economy and work is that could be a while.
