"FROSTED WHISKERS & BLOODY TOE'S"

Dan & Kali turned "Patch" out alone last night & it was +2 degree's when they left. He struck an older track & hit here & hit there & ended up on a den quite a ways in there across a canyon. Between the snow, the cold & the climb the hunt ended after that for Kali. Gota give her credit for goin in them conditions though without question!

Was -3 when they came back.

Can't tree'um if ya don't turn'um loose I guess....

Did you get a Head injury? If so... welcome to the club! NO you and I have never MET in person but I used to post tons on the blue forum... and LOVE the old style dawgs that you and Troy etc.. have. I am also a Friend of Russ'(who I HAVE met in real life). He and I have done some partnership stuff and Bob and I LOVE the Bum who we've also met in real life. I have followed your dogs and the kids etc.. to a limited degree lately... cause I can only do so much.
AS for head injury... IF that was what caused your memory issues... Mine was 10-02-97... and IT is the reason I"m on HERE so much... and also how I got to talking with Russ (other than the fact that HE, like Troy.. was willing to answer all my bazzillion questins about the bluedawgs)... And YOU have always been nothing but polite to me as well!

Hope your memory issues clear up AS NEEDED and allow you to forget what is not necessary to think of!

Heather AKA BIGCASTLEDAWGS or BCD

MSG Farley Ret----- I currently have some blood from both lines in my kennel ( Wolverton's Southern Blue Bawls X No No Bad Dog Jazzy and Treeing Blue Patch X Brandau's Blue Little Lady)
I haven't been disappointed with either one. Each one has their strengths and weaknesses but they are all coon dog or well on their way.

I hope you are able to have as much enjoyment as I do with both of these lines.

Russ

I figured this might put a smile on your Face

I had a friend contact me and told me about this young man, basically told me this would be a good place for one of my pups. I thought about it and finally said give him my Number. I was hooked the first time I talked with him. But I didn't relize until I met this young man and his brother that they had saved their money to buy a pup. If that dosen't hit you were your heart is I don't know what will. It was A GREAT day for Me Barr NONE. give a Good pup to Good kids that will hunt the pads off it when it is ready.

Sarge

Russ thank you so much for taking the time to give me some pointers at the bench show Saturday. Both my pup and I are new to this and it really helped the way you not only showed me but told me how to start him off step by step .

Sarge,That's just flat awsome!! We need more unselfish people in our ranks to do things like that. If the future of the sport is not in the forfront of our minds who's will it be? I got wind of a local lad like that as well that I'm gonna hook up if I can remember who was tellin me about him?

Umbie,Happy to help. Hope you didn't mind me approaching you with the offer? I been there done that myself & ya'll got a beautiful hound. I always figured that if I can help I'll sure nuff do it if I can. Your not far away if you would like anymore questions answered or pointers I may be able to help speed up the learnin curve for ya. I like sharin knowledge about these hounds!

Russ you are going to think I went off the deep end and maybe I did. I thought allot about those two boys. You just don't see that type of drive much anymore from kids to save there money for two years for a pup. I spent a couple hours with the whole family. They only live two hours from me, so I can help. I am giving the female pup I was keeping to the younger brother (Nick) with the stipulation that If I need to breed to her, I will be able to do So. Both those boys deserve a pup, You can Call me NUTS now. But I have a WEAK spot for Kids and if any kid deserves this one they do. This is about as close as you get to Where the Red fern Grows.

Russ I don't know If you know Mr. Ron Brown in Indiana. A few years back he gave me a full grown hound that tracked and treed for a Kid I knew down on the river, Now thats a Houndman that takes care of the next generation. I was headed to Wisconsin so I stoped by to pick up the hound for that kid. He was Flat footed swade back but was a coon hound

This is one I did for a dad and his little girl for free.

OK so I am NUTS LOL!!!!!!!!!!

It's a good thing you did. I got my start when a guy sent me a 14 month old started pup. I was 15 years old and me and that hound forevermore hunted the hair off each other. I owned him until he died at 11 years old. Following that old coon treeing dog around kept me out of a lot of trouble.

"THANK YOU"!

Sarge, I guess I wouldn't call someone that "GIVES" pups to deserving youngsters nuts by know means! I think the proper way to decribe it is a fantastic person with a huge heart which is a very rare thing in the modern age of the 'Ol mighty "$$$".

By doing that kind of stuff you not only help the young'uns out but the whole sport in general with the caring impression you left them with.

"KUDO'S" 2 you & proud to say I know ya!

I never have measured a man by what he has but do from what he does. I've always said I have spent 47 years of my life studyin people for who they are.
