My History pup (Willie), treed his first wild coon tonight!

He trailed him down to the river and the deep swift current held him up. I gave him a little shove and he swam out bout half way and came back. So I helped him get across and he picked up the trail and treed and had the coon. He was treeing hard too. Standing tall and hugging the big oak!

The sad thing is I didn't have a camera or a rifle with me. I left the gun and camera on the other side of the river..


I cut him again and he tried to work a bad track but he never could finish it. He tried for an hour.

I hope all the History pups that are hunting tonight are doing great!!!!

Picked my history pup up yesterday at walker days. Not because he's mine but he is one of the best lookin pups I have seen in awhile. But the two litter mates looked just as good congratulations to Gary

Congrats Gary on your cast wins on thursday and friday at walker day also a BIG THANK YOU for everything you done as far as taking care of my pup until it was picked up saturday afternoon! It looks as if HISTORY just might be following in his daddy's footsteps.......

Mini is out of Engles Pink , There is a few out of that cross that is already ran and treed house cats, Scent Tracks ,or Hot coons , and they will be 6 mos. old tomorrow
