Tank and Austin strike again

Austin handled Tank to another PKC win tonite at Yale. Tank has won 3 out of 4 PKC casts that he has been in and has $180 won in those hunts for the year. Not bad for a 19 month old pup.

After the hunt me and Austin felt like dropping another Rambler pup since the weather was nice so we cut Roxi and she dropped in some rough country about 500 yards and got treed on a big ole den. Thought I could see part of the coon, but couldn't tell for sure.

Here is a video of Bell, Tank's sister last night Feb 19 other dog was trailing. Bell just fell treed on a huge oak den while the other dog trailed and split 40 ft away. At the beginning of the video you can see how far she was split. I was standing at the other tree.
I led the other dog off She stayed until I walked 200yds had to go back and get her. 4th time I have had her hunting.

Hey Tom, did that knot completely go away on Rambler? The reason I'm asking, is, Cannon is at the vet this morning for surgery to have some mass on his neck removed. This thing is about the size of my fist. He had one removed around the first of October right under his neck, but it never totally went away. This new growth is kind of on the side of his neck. I guess I will find out what it is shortly! I also know he didn't do it out hunting, because I haven't been since the end of season.........and that crappy weather might have had something to do with it!
I heard Darren had some absolutely beautiful pups, with tons of color. I bet they will be some good ones.

Bruce- I had that mass removed last year. It was not cancer, I forget the name of it. The vet said that he probably would get those masses again, and he has. He has one on his hip, and one on his shoulder. I can't remember what the vet called it some wild name.

It sounds about like what you have described with Cannon. Hopefully that's all it is!!! I wonder if it's not something hereditary. Since they are breed the same.

Tom, I hope it's just some fatty tumor type of thing! It seems Cannons have been around his neck. The first was under his neck, and this last one, was on the side of his neck. They removed it, and will send it off for biopsy. I'll say one thing, it hasn't affected his appetite. Yeah, it could be hereditary. I'm not sure how long he will be laid up, hopefully not too long. He's so fat now, he can hardly get in the dog box.

first nite champion

Congrats to herb mason his female cove run roxi became a nite champion tonite with a second place finish at jeromesville, ohio. All of roxis wins came woth leaves off and snow on the ground. Roxi also won best of show female on the bench. She needs 20 more show points to become a dual champion. Co grats again herb thanks for letting me handle her tonite!

Hey Rodney, glad you're liking your pup! I'm gettin ready to start huntin mine from that litter now that the snow is finally gone! Rambler seems to be throwin some nice young dogs. This spring might be a team Rambler takeover at the hunts!! Lol

The pups have started winning, but I'm gett in the old man himself ready for some rqe's comin up. Arpil is going to be a busy month for sure.

I have two females here I'm waiting for them to come in to breed to rambler. One is a nite champ tar nailor x buck creek and the other is a young pr dog that is off of rambler's half brother.
