Dragon

Im out of hospital for the moment and still willing to show dragon. I have to have open heart surgery done in near future so got to take it easy hunting but im gettinf back in the woods. Dragon will be the same way even tho i havent been hunting in a month as if he was hunted. Dont over look this nice hound. In right healthy hands this dog could go a long ways in the competition world. Hope at some point i get to put him in some. Just get ahold of me for a hunt. He is what exactly we have explained. Bring your walking boots and a good female in heat and we will let Dragon do the talking.

Showed Snake and Bobbie a cage coon today. They didn't know what to think. Bobbie boggier barked at it some but didn't know what to think. It was also there second ride in the truck since they were born so they didn't know what to think about all this stuff. Snake just wasn't sure and had his mind on playing. It's going to take some time this Spring.
I know I can't physically hunt and train two pups. No matter what my mind tells me. My body just can't yet and not sure it will.
Dragon will be back soon. Chris is dealing with some health issue's and I think I can find a handler or two to help me finish him in the hunts. Besides I miss my Dragon dog even if I can't hunt him

HTX hunt last night and Dragon did pass this time. He isn't hunting as deep as I remember yet.
Maybe next week he will even be better. Sure was a nice night to be out in the woods. I'm not sure how long I can continue with this next pain and pills before I might have to give this up. I sure don't want to but not getting these dogs in the woods isn't doing them or me any good. I'm trying to hang in there but just sitting in the truck is causing more pain than I remember. Stumbling around just standing outside the truck isn't good. I just don't know. Also Thanks you Earl Howell for hunting Dragon last HTX hunt. Time will tell. Well I will be at the Grand National Reunion to visit in Miami Ok. all three days. Stop me and say Hi.

I had a great time visiting and going out on a cast Friday night. I got to hear the Traveler dog. Good heavy bluetick mouth.
I even pick up a little cash at the casino . I met lots of people and exchanged idea on maybe what will win and who has some old blood that I like to combine with some new blood out there. Looks like we are all trying to do what we think with please us in the woods and in the hunts. Next stop Bluetick Days in Eldon Iowa in May. See you there.

Hunted with Justin Gloe tonight

2/2 With Justin Gloe last week. Tonight Dragon was 2/2with Justin as well tonight. Dragon bush wacked this one located and treed no track.
Either the coons are easy to tree or he makes it look that way. I'll take it. It's fun to hear him in the woods even though I can't go to him.

Dragon is doing good. Bobbie and Snake are doing good. They finally have been introduced to a bandit or two so time will tell. I like what I see.
