Preacher and Bathsheba

Hi,

These are my littermate brother and sister linebred back to Gr Nt Ch Finley River Nite Hawk through 1989 UKC World Show Ch Dual Gr Ch Finley River Little Hawk and his son 1993 and 1995 UKC World Show Opposite Sex Gr Ch Little Walnut Flying Hawk.

You can look at my profile and see a list of all their wins. Kandi Johnson showed Preacher for me and Lisa Hunziker showed Bathsheba for me on the show circuits.

My partner Art Kiger hunted Bathsheba for me in Overton, NE. Bathsheba is a quick strike dog, runs a track to catch and is a very quick accurate locator and a good treedog. I have pics of her on the tree on my Nite Hawk thread. I don't know how to post on this thread.

Dual purpose hounds are what I have always strived to produce since I was 20 years old. I usually have about 16 hounds, so I can make my crosses without inbreeding.

Mother's Day

So my wife wanted to take the boat out on Mother's Day so we took the family out to the Grand River.

My boy loves trains so when we came upon the railroad bridge crossing the Grand we drove around piddling hoping to see a train. He was disappointed that we never saw one, and we tooled around there quite a while.

The very next day on a bridge crossing the Grand, a train derailed. It was a bridge about 10 miles to the north, but it is funny to think we were waiting around to see one and lucky we didn't see one up real close and personal! Funny how things work out.
