Stud owners ask for it. I bid on full Throttle his was s hundred but if you look at his Ped that's a steal. 400 for Wipeout Jake is reasonable the dogs winning and a pup out of him is in Final four pup shootout tonight

Most of the bids are considerably lower than what the actual stud fee is . By placing a minimum bid the stud dog owner assures that a the bidder pays a little more to breed to his dog , the money isn't going into his pocket it is going to help a little boy so the higher the bids the more successful this action is .

I understand that part, but most with a minimum bid don't even have a bid .......So this Family isn't getting anything from that Particular Stud ...?

Folks r donating their dogs for stud yes to help out this young fella and his family but min bid is kinda protecting their male to an extent. Explaining further......most reputable breeders do not breed just for breeding purposes. They want to attempt to breed to good females to try to improve the breed. W/no min bid yes some dogs will be bidded up because of their past or pedigrees. But I for one put a min bid of $125 on my dog because I just want to try and make sure somebody w/just some trade dog not worth a darn bidded $25 and really could have cared less whether the bitch was even worth breeding. And it was covered the first or second day put up on auction.
