One thing I've found out about pups is, you never know which one out of the litter will be best. I always tried to pick the best looking one so if it made a good one, you'd be double lucky. My buddy Tim always picks the ugly duckling and he's had very good success with his pups making coon dogs. In the case of these pups we all have, I haven't seen a bad one yet. I'll remember I said this in about 8 months when I'm running mine down from chasing a deer or something else lol.
Emma's half brother Lincoln has 14 pups on the ground and will be ready the week before Christmas. If you sell all your pups, send them my way! I have nine left to sell! lol

He has the looks and the mouth, good luck with him.
Sarge is ready to be put in the woods! He has the looks, mouth, and is bred right. Good luck with him George.
Ron-Pups
Two nice looking pups. Dave
Thanks Dave
I sure like them. It's gonna be hard to choose one when the time comes. I will only keep one although Jackie says she wants to keep them both, lol. Not much difference between them now except their mouth and disposition. The wide blaze male has a nice clear Chop/Bawl mouth in the kennel and the other one has a little less volume and is bawl mouth. The wide blaze male is a little more outgoing. Haven't showed them a coon yet but I’m thawing out an old leftover hide to show them this week end.
I see where you bred your fine female. Wow what a pedigree and both are top coondogs. Dave I know if you lead it, it is more than capable of doing its part. Good luck with that litter. Hope to see you this year my friend. Have a good one.
Ron

Update
I've just started to hunt my pup out of Sport & Emma. I had never shown him anything but one left over coon hide about a month and a half ago which he and his brother barked at on first sight. My friend Tim Wolfe trapped a coon and we waited until dark last night and took my pup Satch, (short for Satchimoe) out and introduced him to Mr. coon. He absolutely came unglued on it! I mean lay on his side and try to eat the cage unglued! We let the coon loose and it ran up the creek but Satch didn't see it go so he lost it and couldn't straighten it out but he tried for quite a while. I know George's pup is doing good as well. Wondering if anyone else's pups from this cross are doing anything. I'm excited
Hello Ron,
I've been hearing good reports from not only this cross but also the Sport and Cindy cross as well. George's Sarge is already an intense tree dog. He also released a coon to him and he ran and treed it. He just needs to be taken to the woods. This kill season will be interesting to say the least. Good luck with Satch. I hope he finishes out to be a good one for you.
Thanks
Gary for the update. I saw a video of Sarge the other night that George sent me. Very impressive! Yep, I'm going to be getting mine to the woods every chance I can now. Good luck and have a good one.
Sarge
I'm liking this rascal. He's put on a show on two release coons that he never saw.
Video of first coon he treed

Satch
My friend Tim Wolfe and I were hunting tonight with his old
Hank dog and my young Satch, (Sport X Emma). Hank had struck and went over the ridge. Satch didn't go with him so we headed to the top. Once we reached the top and was waiting to hear Hank, young Satch dropped down the other side and opened on track, first time for him. He ran for a short distance and fell treed on a big oak tree. We started to him and I looked up before I got there and there they were, three ringtails looking down at me. Needless to say, I'm a happy camper! That was pure natural ability. I had only turned two coon loose to him and one he never even saw and the second one he treed. This was all on his own. I've had dogs do this before but mostly they were fooled with much more than Satch. I'm pumped!!
Congratulations
Congratulations on your young dog Ron. Sounds like a ood one for sure. Dave
Satch
That's good to hear. We have two here that r doin same thing. Mine don't keep up with Izzy yet, I don't think he wants to because he goes his own way sometimes but has treed a couple coons. He has also ran one coyote that he absolutely drove it with no trouble lol. Tiny has one he calls Buck and he also has treed a few and goes with Izzy all the way and helps with track and tree,he's real nice pup. There's a pup n another litter off Sport and Cindy that ran and treed first coon he ever smelled without seeing @ 5 mo old. Gary has littermate that ran its first coon that it never saw. I'm thinking Sport left this area way too soon. Good luck with him.
