FOOD AT OILFIELD $5000

There will be food available starting at 3:00pm on Friday Oct. 24th.There will also be biscuits and gravy, eggs later that night. There will be coffee and sodas for drinks. Also on the menu will be Hamburgers, porkburgers, chips and possibly some homemade pies. Not sure of the prices. Please give it a try.

The new updated weather forecast still looking good. Highs both days in upper 60's and lows in the upper 40's with plenty of sunshine.

Wanted to let you all know that I have just spoke with the Casey, IL Days Inn and they only have about 10 (maybe a few less by now), rooms available for Friday night. Rates were $66 to $76 per night. If you call to book a room and they quote you a price, ask them if that's the best they can do. If there is a promotion going on then they will give it to you if you ask.$10 to $20 savings usually. Casey hotel will be the closest to the fairgrounds. If Casey is booked,try Marshall, IL area hotels. If Marshall, IL is booked try Robinson, IL.
