Thanks! Can't wait to get back to posting dog pics. I lost my cord to charge my camera, but recently found it. I have had to rely on my cell phone all hide season, and it's night time motion pic taking capabilities are sub par to say the least. The last couple months it seems like this thread has become more about deer and fish than coondawgs... Lol

Had a good hunt last night while the temps hovered around 20. Made a couple ground holes, couple dens, then hunted Tramp solo and he treed 3, but we only shot the last one he treed for the night, just shy of midnight.

Thank you very much, I appreciate your kind words. I enjoy posting pics and sharing stories. I don't get on here nearly as often as I used to, but hopefully the seasons will keep being satisfactory and I can post some more from time to time.

I've been enjoying this mild winter we've been having so far. Getting out once in a while, but Tramp has been showing me coon for the most part. I got 17 coon prior to gun deer season, and I'd like to try and get about that before the season ends. I'm up to 8 so far, all have been good sized with good hides.

Treed 3 tonight, but on the last one Tramp went .62 miles before pulling the trigger. I thought it was just a den till I started walking away and finally found it.

Pounder 2 is a littermate to my Bocephus dog. Speck has always been bawl/bawl, but last night she started chopping some. Hope she starts doing that more, was like listening to Bo again.

2015 PERFORMANCE SIRE

It was a last minute thing, but I sent in $100 to pay Tramp up as a performance sire for 2015. No breedings for sure planned, but rolling a couple ideas around, and have had some interest in pups. Tramp has been bred once to NtCh Appel's Blue Oak Gert, and the pups are doing as good as can be hoped for given their young age.

Here is a video of Tramp from Friday night. He had to stay there a long time as I didn't dare cross the ice on the river.

Here is a video of Tramp last night on his first tree. He went 2 for 2 on a night that was a little brisk. Coon are starting to rut good and it is a fun time to be unsnapping a dog.

Never really went anywhere, just don't have much to post especially since I've been without a camera all hide season. My cell phone takes decent videos, but horrible night pics. Doesn't seem like UKC is as hopping as it was a couple years ago. Seems a lot more of the dog activity takes place on Facebook. Hopefully with competitions coming up, I'll have more to babble about...

Until then, anyone is more than welcome to come hunting with me. I'd much rather show ya how horrible my dogs can look than tell ya about it on here...

Haven't been hunting much now that winter decided to show up. I did recently go to taxidermy school and just finished my first deer shoulder mount. I'm excited to do some more and get better with experience!
