He is throwing some nice pups. I have six and they R looking good with them tails curled over their backs. Plus a good disposition. I'm sure you need some of this stuff.

Picked up a 9 month old pup out of Tex and Zena Sunday morning. Showed her the first coon she had ever seen Sunday afternoon. She went off like a cherry bomb. Turned it loose for her, she treed it and I shot it out to her. Took her hunting for the first time Wednesday night. She treed with the old dog and I mean treed not just a few barks. Shot a big boar coon out to her. This pup is phenomenal, absolutely a complete natural. Thanks Mac for letting me get her. If this is indicative of pups out of Tex he should not be overlooked.

I don't know if you heard or not but the pup that Conrad has split treed on her 2nd or 3rd night in the woods and stayed treed for about 45 minutes with the raccoon?

THAT'S GOOD NEWS. Not much of a surprise though , Zena is a littermate to Bttb Girl,dam of little texas ,cootie and Dean Millers Bttb Willie McCoy,exact same blood out of full sisters. Zena is.my favorite hound hands down. She does it all,All the time. Maybe Steven can remember her % of cast wins, If I am correct, I think she got beat twice . Steven recommended this cross a couple yrs ago and by all.reports he was right on!

I went to the SC State hunt this past weekend and hunted a male out of Tex. Only saw two coons in two cast. But, the Tex male was sitting deep and alone with the coon each night. Not the best performance. But, he did better than the others. There were walkers, english, and even a redbone. That first 1.1 mile walk to see Mr. Ringtail was the best!

I said all that to say, be prepared to walk when you start hunting those Tex pups.

Me and Red got a female out of him that is turning it on treed her first coon last night in the wild and did a good job on it has been doing it with other dogs for a while no reverse in this little gyp!!!!!!!

Them babies R sweet. I have 4 females and 1 male left and I have been playing with them and a coon hide at three months. They R tearing it up and they have good mouths on them.

You all better get u some while the door is open. I think that you will be sorry down the road if you don't.

I think that I have all mine placed. YOu better get on the Swamp Hollow list to get one.

Thank you to mr Larry Allen, for breeding his Gr Ntch Skipper female to TEX. Sadie is an extremely nice hound. Hunted against her, was very impressed and said I want some of that! Lots of Rex and Coondog to coondog. Dont know if they are spoke for yet.If you are a COMP. hunter or breeder these should be what yer lookin for.Again, Thnx Larry . me n randal are lookin forward to a pup from this cross.Dont have Larrys number, but I am sure Randal will pass it on.
