Travis...
Thanks...I will. I am former Military having served state side as an Military Police Officer...my Uncle Chuck who was a Warrant Officer fought in the Korean Conflict...came home highly decorated and an alcoholic for the rest of his life from battles fought...until his passing 9 years ago...My Uncle Loren Served in the Army in Viet -Nam and came home with what was then diagnosed as Bi-Polar disorder and Paranoid Schiziphrenia...probably today PTSD...after being pinned down under enemy fire for 4 days in a ditch while his buddies died all around him. He died of a heart attack at 51 years old.
Thank you for the recommendation..I'll pick it up soon. Republicans and Democrats are all to willing to send our men and women to war...Bush promised Great Britain that he would not nation build in Iraq. He did exactly the opposite. I may be wrong, but I think we need to nation build America and fix our problems at home...I liked President Bush his first term...not at all on his second term...and just to give President Obama a little credit...Bush began alot of programs and executive orders that President Obama has expanded. This country really needs a solution. I had hoped that after Bush's last four years that we would have one...I had hoped for President Obama to succeed to move our country forward...I just hope that our new President will succeed and fix the myriad of problems for our country or we are doomed as a Nation...This President's Hope and Change has left alot to be desired.

Good Morning Travis...
Had a great hunt last night...heading to Dads to do some work up north...
There is a deeper dimension to this current President that is shaped by his childhood until today.
When the President said that he would fundementally change America...he meant it. He said that we are not a Christian nation...Holder said that we are a nation of cowards....
When Regan...Bush Sr...Clinton and Bush Jr. were in the office there was moderation to meet both sides. This President plunges deeper left every day...he divides by class and by race...runs an endgame around the constitution through executive orders and plunges forward with a more than liberal agenda...based on his views of anti colonialism...redistribution of wealth...and complete control of the country....make no mistake about it...he's not a democrat...he's alot more than that...
All the while the congress is more concerned about their carreers and power than to stand up for this Nation and the principles she once held...
I don't take anything for granted...I study all available information before I form an opinion.
Everybody have a great day...I have to lay a tile floor for Dad...he has a difficult time getting on to his knees. Talk to you later Travis...

Apology...
You know fellas...We had family Bible reading together...Caleb and Rachel wanted to read about what the Bible says the virtues of a Christian are. As I read the scriptures to them about not provoking wrath...speaking with kindness...having a gentle spirit...I could have crawled under the table. I apologize if I offended any of you fellas with our debate. I have strong political and Christian views. I need to learn how to temper those view points with wisdom when expressing them. I guess that's part of being human...we all...me more than most...fall from time to time. Sorry fellas...I'll try to practice what I preach.
Hey Track...you still wear me out... LOL.

I appreciate that. I don't know what it is about you...but I think if we lived close...we'd probably be buddies and hunt dogs together. I may not agree with your viewpoints...but I do respect you. God Bless you Track...keep them Walkers busy!

I love you, O LORD, my strength. - Psalm 18:1
Old Drum
I came across this tonight...thought I'd post it even though it is under Presidental Appointees...Kinda gives me something to aspire to...
Faithfulness to all of my Brothers...
Gentlemen of the Jury, the best friend a man has in this world may turn against him and become his enemy. His son or daughter that he has reared with loving care may prove ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to us, those whom we trust with our happiness and our good name, may become traitors to their faith. The money that a man has, he may lose. It flies away from him, perhaps when he needs it the most. A man’s reputation may be sacrificed in a moment of ill-considered action. The people who are prone to fall on their knees to do us honor when success is with us may be the first to throw the stone of malice when failure settles its cloud upon our heads. The one absolutely unselfish friend that a man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him and the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous is his dog.
"Gentleman of the Jury, a man’s dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only he may be near his master’s side. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer, he will lick the wounds and sores that encounters the roughness of the world. He guards the sleep of his pauper master as if he were a prince. When all other friends desert, he remains. When riches take wings and reputation falls to pieces, he is as constant in his love as the sun in its journey through the heavens.
"If fortune drives the master forth an outcast in the world, friendless and homeless, the faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying him to guard against danger, to fight against his enemies. When the last scene of all comes, and death takes the master in its embrace and his body is laid away in the cold ground, no matter if all other friends pursue their way, there by his graveside will the noble dog be found, his head between his paws, his eyes sad but open in alert watchfulness, faithful and true even to death."

Yes, We used to go to New Bedford and hunt with Andy Hershberger at least once a month. Since my health has deteriorated, I just go up to his shop and shoot the bull. You know the older you get, the better the dogs get!!
