I didn't say they would win it, I said I hoped they win it, I think it will be a Big Ten Team win it. Pick your Poison, several Big Ten Teams could win it imo.

You bumped your head Carl! This team isn't great but their better than any team that Billy had and the last few years that Tubby was there. If Noel wouldn't have got hurt we are definitely in. Im proud to be a TRUE Wildcat fan and I was at the game when we beat Florida Saturday, thought I was going to see a beating by Florida lol, what a environment to be in.If they don't get in that's fine, I know what's coming and I'll always love my Cats!

I believe coach Cal has got the massage this year though i believe he will have from three to four players coming back every year from now on oh yes the cats will always have four or five one and dones but if it don't completly take the whole team as it did last year i think they will be ok a lesson this year i think well learned.

LOL you must have slep through Tubby and Billy Clyde. Hell some of Tubbys teams couldn't even dunk the ball . I don't know what the heck to say about Billy Clydes teams. WOW

When asked by phone if he would want to coach a team that featured at least three one-and-done players, Pitino said: "You know, I wouldn't care if the pros say the young man is one and done and he goes. But I don't go in the home and say, 'You're a one-and-done and my program is a one and done program.' I don't do that.

"I go in and recruit the young man and if he asks me how I would feel about it, I say, 'If you're good enough, that's up to the pros, go ahead and do it.' I don't talk about it. I don't look at it. One of the things I enjoy is building relationships with guys, and I don't want to get to know them for seven months and they move on because I never get to know them."

It doesn't sound like Coach John Calipari agreed with those remarks:

When told of Pitino's comments regarding one-and-done players, Calipari told USA TODAY Sports: "That's not true (that you can't have relationships). Obviously the relationships I have with my guys, you need to go talk to them. Why? I have been loyal to them. I have loved them when they were here and loved them when they left. It's not about me, it's about them. I don't go in and talk about one-and-done. It never comes up in meetings. I don't have to. It's the white elephant in the room … If you can't get those kids, that's the kind of comment you make. That's what you say."

my point was to people that posted above.that ky. was one and done!!
they will be back with a force....very soon!!! lol

Posted by Whordel on 03-21-2013 03:32 PM:

Actually Carl he is/was #2 on Rivals and the #1 power foward on the planet. I liked Julius better than anybody that Ive watched this year for that position
We don't need Gordon now and I think Wiggins could be overrated like OJ Mayo was. I dont know how next year is going to turn out but Im excited.

So your proud of having a coach that ruins the game of basketball?

He got lucky last year. He had a few that stuck around to teach the young and dumb. You don't win a title then lose 1st round of nit and call your program a success.

I wanted mizzu to beat Colo state but unfortunately like every team in the SEC they can only win at home.

I wanted to see Louisville beat Mizzu by 30 but I guess Colo State can do it for them.

All these stupid coaches do is go after the 6 '9 big guy that cant shoot a lick. It has ruined basketball.
