Just made water champion in 5 races. Boys are proud about that We had 7 dogs for Charleston's first water race we hope that picks up We have another race in August yet.

Everybody seemed to have a good time. Thanks to all that came.

Tri-state coonhunters
Eckhart Maryland

Bench show @ 2:00 pm. $15.00.
Field trial @ 4:00 pm. $ 10.00.
Water race @ 6:00 pm. $ 10.00
Night hunt @ 8:30 pm. $ 25.00.

This is also a treeing walker sectional.
All breeds welcome.

do you guys give out anything nice trophys or plaques for your water races or just a win slip not many clubs around me have a water race that often and im always willing to travel but not for just a win slip

Had a great water race at Cole Camp MO Aug.17 , there was 17 open dogs , 2 water champions, and 1 grand water champion. There were a lot of nice dogs and some very exciting races.
My Judy dog who is my main project right now was just coming out of heat so I didn't have her there but you can bet she'll be there next week for the MO state championship.
By the way, speaking of the MCHF MO state championship that is as follows : Aug. 23 (Friday) BS-6pm , NH-8:30pm , Water Race -7pm
Aug.24 (Sat.) BS-3:30pm , NH-8;30pm , Water Race-5pm
this will be at Cole Camp MO-----(Oak Hill Coon Club)

I believe Coles County Coonhunters give ribbons out.

Tri State Coonhunters @ Eckhart Md.
they give out trophies for water race and field trials. Not real big.

We had ,15 dogs in show.
6 IN FIELD trials
6 IN water race.

A little better than last one.
Good crowd all day.

next one
October 5 2013. It will also be a BBCHA bluetick sectional.

What is the deal with the State Championship? Do you have to qualify to race or hunt?

The above link may help with info about any MCHF events including the upcoming state championship. Just click on what your interested in and scroll for info. You don't have to qualify to participate in the state events but of course you must join Missouri Coon Hunters Federation (MCHF) which you can do right there.

Don't forget about Sun. Aug.25 at Higbee MO, there will be a BS at 4pm and a water race at 6pm. This will be the first event of the new season because as you know the new season starts as soon as the state championship is over.

Just made Smokey ( my Walker ) a grand water champion today( Fri. Aug 23 ) at the state championship. I can't wait till tomorrow , hope to see you'all there !!!!!!!!
