very nice post rodney i like it and very true on that old saying.we had one heck of a hunt last night at hale town a couple dogs got minus but me and hanna ended up in sudden death for an hour

Good old pics Rodney keep posting. Got to hunt with Roland Dickey one night in 90 or 91 when he owned Joe and Amos.
Looks like John Boy and Molly are crankin good.
Took ole Hickup last night with Lee Armour's Stick To It dog. They ran a hard race about 15 minutes and had the meat. We squalled him out but had the dogs tied back. Second race they split bout 30 yards apart. Both had a coon and held their tree.

Thanks Mike , sounds like hickup is doing real good , I was wanting to go hunting with stick when Bradley Ryan had him and never got the chance , he is a goodlooking hound , John boy is out of a littermate sister to hickup and my Tea Top dog , He is doing pretty good , he likes to get split also , thats what I like about these dogs , may breed hickups mom to Tea Top soon , it worked real well on Quigley , I think it will do the same on Tea Top , I hope lol. I see you have a female on the way to Georgia , are you thinking about breeding hickup soon .

Don't know bout breedin Hickup just yet. Got two other females besides the new Gun x Big River female. The oldest one (Daisy) was bred to Stick on valentines day. Hope she took won't know for several weeks. She's out of Blackmon's Dan a half brother to Country Hick. The other female is 18 months will run and tree with other dogs, out of Timber Cutter. Not really wantin to raise pups but grandson was having a fit for us to breed one of them. We'll have our hands full before long.

I like the ped on Stick , that should be a nice cross , I spent many a nights in the woods with Blackmons Dan even helped put a handle on him , he was a pretty nice hound , I dont know what happend to Dan , I know he was sold and finished by Billy Gant and hunted in some PKC hunts and he sold him and I think some young boy has him now . Never understood why he wasn't promoted and advertised more , I think the female that you have was the only litter out of him . Old Tea Top really helped oid Dan and the dog that they advertise as Joker on here , Rodney Filiaw owned both of them and he hunted them with old Tea Top and put a lot of coons on them dogs , alot of people don't know that lol all you hear about is how good they are but don't hear nothing about the story behind it LOL . GOOD luck with your pups should be some GOODUNS , I might be interested in a female if you have enough , just let me know how much you are asking.
