I LOVE EVERYONE and I no longer sit up all night long on this message trying to stir up trouble and cause problems and argue and fuss and make myself look smart the way i did for years and years. My whole heart, mind, and attitude has been transformed from the inside out.


5. I have a full time job which I enjoy and I am now the trainer at work who trains the new hires. I'm not lazy anymore. I used to go from job to job and when I got layed off I wouldn't even look for work. I would sit on the couch and eat all day and night and not even think about finding a job for months and months. I care now and GOD has transformed my mind and heart.

GOD gets ALL the glory for every single change in my life. Everything. I got saved and accepted JESUS when I was 15 years old but I went through many years where I put GOD on the back burner and I slowly brought idols into my life and I drifted far far out into sin and bitterness and hate and depression. I came back to GOD and cried out for help and he rescued me !! Oh yeah, thats another thing, Im not on depression medicine anymore. JESUS LOVES YOU AND HE CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE TOO !!!!!!!!!!!

Sheep,good for you,if believin all this helped you thats great. Bear it is not that someone does not believe God is their father, it is that God, who is the Creator, made a way to reconcile all mankind to Him, through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.

God has made a punishment for all mankind, at least those who will not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus died on the cross for all of us. As a sacrifice for our sins, replacing the sacrifice in the Old Testament. That blood sacrifice only covered sin, Jesus blood washed away the stain of sin.

Would you condemn a man who thumbed his nose at your son, after your son had given his life in defense of that man? Of course you would. You have already said as much. God however allows us to change, we can have a view that is wrong nad have it changed. While we breathe there is still time to change our minds.

I could pile scripture upon scripture to support my statement, but, why? My life is a testimony to what the scriptures speak about. Look around this thread.

Person after person has shown you proof to them about the awesome Power of God. God with a Big G by the way. I notice you keep referring him as god. This may be some of your problem. There is only one God, there are many gods and idols. Only one God has the power to create, and ultimately judge.

God's ability to answer prayer is the same, he absolutely answers prayer, our problem is with the answer. He always answers, our problem lies with the answer that we cannot accept. I wish there was an easy answer to your question. The simplicity is there is not. We have offered proof in our lives that prayer works, you disagree.

You lack the faith to believe God has done something because you put your eyes on the ineptitude of man (the cancer issue in another post, doctors may have jumped the gun). Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of you and I? God gave us all "the measure of Faith" we were all built from the ground up with that innate amount of faith. Faith isn't about getting a prayer answered, getting a prayer answered is a by-product of faith. The idea that you even prayed about something tells me faith is there, do you have enough faith to believe that God knows what is going on?


So much I want to keep talking to you about Sam, if you would like to keep conversing about this I am all ears, and will help where I am able. I too will be praying for you. Ultimately Sam the answer to our prayers lies in your free will. A truly repentant heart, someone who truly is born again cannot have a problem with Prayer and God's will. They can't. Your free will allows you to make a choice that you will be all in for Jesus Christ, all in for the Gospel, all in for every word the bible teaches, or not.


You cannot jump into the deep end of a pool and be a little wet.

The bible is replete with miracles that were performed at the hand of Jesus. The feeding of the multitude out of 5 loaves and a few fish. Blind men seeing, mute men talking, lame men walking, lepers healed, dead children being raised , Lazarus coming froth from the tomb. I could go on and on. If you know your bible at all, you know it too. We have the miracles that we have all seen in our lives, however, you will not take our word, our word is not sufficient. I wonder why? Why would we lie to you?


You see I know know the bible and the stories of these people and the miracles that they were part of, saw, and heard about are real.

Every disciple save for John, was killed for his faith. Killed because they would not renounce Jesus, would not go against what they had seen and been a party to. If there had not been "true blue" miracles, I am certain one of these men would have spoken up and not went through the suffering of their tormentors. John, the author of the Gospel of John, 123 John and the book of Revelation, had suffered a few times at the hands of those who would kill him for his faith. He did not renounce it. These all are proof of answered prayer and faith that God was indeed control.


Sam, also I want to caution you about asking God for a miracle that you need answered in your life. It may come to pass for sure, but are you faithful enough to endure it? The need for miracle, often means that man has exhausted every other avenue for an answer. Think of the worst things you can imagine, would you want a family member to endure something that man has no answers for just to have your own faith grown?


Please do not take offense to anything I have written Sam. I am maybe not as diplomatic as HP, he obviously knows what he is doing as it pertains to this conversation, I just want you to know that I am also only asking questions and giving some short answers to some of what you are asking. If my answers are not sufficient, I hope someone can come up with some that are.

This is a wonderful discussion, and I hope it continues. It is good for everyone here involved to stretch our understanding and gains some insight into what God wants us to do in our time here.

I know this....when you have reached rock bottom and the only way to look is up then God has something to work with. I know this from experience...we all have a free will and HE will not impeded on that. He wants to be your king and answer to all your problems, but you have to take that first step.
I know it makes no logical sense. I am a logical person. almost like from Missiouri... I have to see it to believe it. But that is not how God works. You have to believe by faith and then he shows up to show who he is.
I was a total wreck in 09. I was a self made man and needed no one and could do anything any other man on this planet could do. I can build a house from the foundation to the shingles, I can skin a buck and run a trot line, but I could not control grown kids who went slap crazy or fix the many, many scars I received from my childhood on from a drunk wife beating step father to broken hearts and dreams. I had cancer, lost my leg, my wife left me and I lost my job, my home and my truck all in 8 weeks.

Lost my mother and a great step dad all in a few months.
I had pretty much hit rock bottom and I just couldnt take it any more. taking my life seemed the easiest and best route to go. My thought was if this is as good as it gets, I want off!period...But Jesus......

I got on my knees and asked God to take control of my life and that I had made a mess of my life. I kicked in every door I thought I deserved.
God slowly little by little rebuilt my life. He has truly spoken to me, touched me, showed me wisdom. brought me the respect of my wife, my family, my community, my church and given me more great quality friends than I could ever imagine. He has blessed me so many ways it is rediculous. You have to experience it to understand it.
The biggest this is Peace. I have a peace you cant put into words. I never slept a peaceful night in my entire life until after I gave it all up and surrendered to God.
I pray you find that place before it is too late where you can experience the love of Jesus.
It would be hard for you to believe the miracles I have seen with my own eyes. I know this. Only me and God knew some of these needs I asked him for, not even my wife and God came through time after time after time. I have no reason to lie. I have proof through my life. I am a living example of a miracle.
I was a walking dead man, now I am a man full of love, hope, peace and joy.

2) A prayer is not a magic spell that either works or doesn't. Prayer is simply talking to God. Often we miss or misinterpret His answers simply because we have placed our own preconcieved notions on the situation.

very good answer preacher god can let you hit bottom and in time if you belive and ask him to help you get out of that pit i thank god every day for alowing me to see the next day my health is no good but as i see it this is what he given me to deal with and as i always say you never no what the good lord will have instore for us ive had some heavy burdens on my shoulders but hes always got me through these tuff times

Track, I didn't see one person forcing something on him. bear asked questions, I see people trying to offer some help, experience, and hope.

Also, you can go back on some of my posts, and you will see things that I have said that I have been ashamed of. The bottom line is we all have things we are and should be ashamed of. Who we should look at and try to emulate, follow after and live like, is Jesus. As a man, he did show us how to live. The bible tells us he was tempted in every way and manner that we have been, yet He did not sin. I am a poor example of a man. It is only through Christ that I am perfect. Any imperfection that you see in me, is my carnality. I hate that part of me, I constantly struggle against it. We all do. Not an excuse, but reality. I am not yet complete in my salvation. Daily working out my salvation with fear and trembling.

It took me a long time to understand that scripture. Now I not only understand it, but I am living it. There will come a day, I will draw my last breath, and my salvation will be complete. It is never complete until that day. Until that day, we will struggle, we will fall. I will continue to repent.


God called David "a man after his own heart". Ever wonder why? I am sure that David was a man much like a lot of us in many different ways. Had there been a message board like this back then, we may have seen a side of David that many have not read about. One thing remains constant, the reason David was a man after God's own heart was, simply, David repented. Always. it is written that not only did he repent, he asked fervently that God would "create in him, a clean heart" "Give him clean hands" and not "forsake him" David was a man after God's own heart, because he repented (changed his way of thinking and living, and strove not to repeat the activity that was found to be sin, as he knew it, in God's mind.


Repentance is not something that is done once and then its over. Repentance should happen daily. And for me, even more often. I thank God for the Holy Spirit, and I often pray that God will help me control any carnality that crops up. The bottom line is I make bad choices at times, and have been ashamed of them. Repent, Ask Forgiveness, and Live. It is the same model we are all called to live.

Again, don't look to man as a mold or template for how to live, look to God, who came to earth as a man, stepping down out of glory, into the shell, the frailty of man, to show us how to live.

This election let me know what people at these coon hunts think about me not just the pres.,not trying to change the topic but we all stuggle with short comings everyday but we must try.....!!!

Hey tracker....the election didnt bring

anything out but the truth....most of the united states, the majority are Godless...including our president, vice president, nancy pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, the idol worshipers that got voted into the congress, and the list goes on.
I take a stand for Godly principles and will fight till the last breath I draw. I believe in God and have witnessed him first hand in my life. He is real and everyone that opposes him will stand before him in Judgement.
Christianity isnt for mambe pambe do gooders. It is for the strong of heart that trust in Jesus and allow him to run their lives.
The book of Mathew quotes Jesus when he said" Since the days of John the baptist, the Kingdom of Heaven has sufered violence and the violent take it by force"!!

I will stand with sword (the word of God) in hand and defend it against the Godless. If you want to stand on that side, so be it. God said you are either for me or against me. There is no middle ground. Our country has made a statement starting with the president and every single member of the democratic party. You dont want anything to do with God. We get it. How's that working for you guys. You can see that you dont have any peace and I bet most of you and them dont sleep very well at night. To say you do is a lie. It goes against what the scriptures says you are. I was once like yall and my life on the outside might have looked just fine, but I knew what was really going on in my heart.
the problem with you and those like you, is the Bible is a mirror and you dont want to look into it. neither does the president and his horde. You know why they fight biblical principles, cause it forces you to admit what is really in your heart.
As long as you can enforce laws against christian values and principles, you can ride the train a little longer. there will be a day my friend and it is just around the corner and Mr Barack Hussein Obama will stand before God and give an account of the beliefs he has helped push into law in this country.
God Judged Sodom and Gomarah and we are fixing to reap the whirlwind and you will not be able to escape it.
The real sad thing about all of this is God loves you so much and you are will to public make a stand against him by slandering his children. Jesus and God called a spade a spade, there are tens of thousands of scriptures where they both called out folks like this and they made it very clear what the outcome will be. An eternity in Hell where there will be total isolation and the canker worm never dies.
Are yall really willing to take a chance like that?

Our president and his entire clan will burn in everlasting hell and that my friend is the absolute truth and word of God.

Mr. Snyder, I am not trying to be a know it all{smart aleck}, but have you ever looked in the mirror? Every person on this forum is a walking miracle. Us born again Christians know that we serve a Just God. "Mercy"- not givin' us what we deserve. "Grace"- givin' us what we don't deserve. Bout' everyone of us has been where you are at.

I know this. The democratic party makes no beef about it that they want laws that deny morality. Just let me be and do what I want and give me something while I am doing nothing.

You have to be really proud to associate with that clan.
Being christian isnt divided by rep. or dem. but the democrats have made it a point in life to defy God. At least the republican party believes in Not killing 58 million babies like the dems. They dont believe in two homosexuals marrying.
and believe that you can sit on your butt and draw a paycheck for no reason.
Tell us all you agree with all of that...all of it. You cant just pick and chose what you want to agree with and deny the rest.

You will stand before God and you will fall on your face before a Holy God and give an account of your life. Are you that brave or that foolish?

I have met him face to face and talk to him daily. He has shown himself to me in so many ways i cant count them all.
So I know there is a God and everything I have read in the bible has shown itself as well. thats how I know its real. Dude I had to see it before I could believe it. when I saw it I knew there was a God. So when I read that if I dont accept him what my eternity will look like vs what my eternity will look like b y accepting him. Even a fool couldnt pass that up.

So when I read that if I dont accept him what my eternity will look like vs what my eternity will look like b y accepting him. Even a fool couldnt pass that up.

What's the difference when your party practices this behind close doors and your still blind enough that you CAN'T AND WON'T call them out. So you pickout what you're passionate about and throw the rest in the garbage? Will you be judged? What you're said is dems are not hypocirtes becasue they don't hide behind closed doors? ARE YOU GOD? WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO JUDGE?

I am forgiven. All my sins have been forgiven me. there is nothing I can do that can seperate me from God once I accept Jesus as my lord and savior.
I know this is hard to understand ,but its why Jesus died for us because God knew man and knew we would never do what was right so there had to be a sacrifice made for me and you. all I had to do was accept it.
I am not a republican and I dont like the majority of politicians period.
But the Democrats have a platform that absolutely defys God to his face. they are open about it. period. No ifs ands or buts about it. That is what gets into my craw.

As a christian, it concerns me that democrats have recently voted in a couple of Gay politicain in gov. a Hindu and a buddhist and 4 states voted to support gay agenda issues, voted in illegal drugs in two states and that Obama will probably appoint two if not three supreme court justices that all oppose christian values. that means these people will write up laws, support laws and vote for laws that are totally opposite of moral issues.
It is actually in your favor if we have moral laws. Your family will actually benefit from it. Do you want to explain to your children or grandchildren why is it ok for Transgender men to dress up like women and work in a Mcdonalds and then go to the bathroom while your daughter or grand daughter is in there by herself?
They are trying as we speak to get these laws passed right now.
How can this not bother you. It is almost unhuman to not say this doesnt bother you. I can say this...it will be a cold day in hell before a republican ever voted for something like that.
go to youtube and just key in Obamas party for LGBT....thats lesbians, gays, bi-sexuals and transgenders. He says straight out he will do everything in his power to make sure that they are protected and that they are supported in marriage and all other ways.
He had this party for them in the whitehouse.
Track...come on. I know you are married to the democratic party and for what reason other than maybe your a union worker or something.
Stop blaming bush or other republicans or just making excuses....just tell me why non of the stuff I mentioned that the democratic party and this president believe in does not bother you and tell me right here that having a transgender in the bathroom with either your son or daughter or grandchild does not bother you.
