We do have a pile of pelts around here but the sad thing is most of these counterfeit dogs cant tree them consistently. Plain and simple good ones are hard to find north or south. People breed for color, good feet, and whats on that paper most forget about coon treeing ability not only when its easy but when its so dry your fallin in the cracks of clay or when there's 6in of snow and ice the kind of coon treeing ability all year round in any condition. Its not how they start its all on how they finish. A DOG IS ONLY WORTH WHAT ANOTHER MAN WILL PAY!!!! The difference between a good one and a great one is this much I-----I !

What I was trying to say when I called Hoosier a avg coonhunter is. Take a well known man in the coonhunting world. He might get 10k for a 3k dog. Hoosier ain't well known. I can ask everybody in my club if they have heard of him and they will say no. Sure we know him and folks around his place do but that's it. Now let me ask them if they know a top name and they will and to sell a dog for big time money. A big time hound man has to be on one side or the other.Even if it ain't Hoosiers dog. Whomever it is ain't very well known either. He'd know how to price it

Im not knockin walkers.Just stating the facts.I am a walker man by the way.Speakin of english.I got a 11 months old here that has been treein his own coon since he was 6 months old. They have impressed me to say the least.Loud accurate and alot of drive.Ive actually thought bout breedin my walker female to my english pups sire.Im tryin to breed for coontreers, all that money dont mean crap to me.A dog that i like are priceless to me cause ive seen alot i dont like.
