went out the other night first night my dad let me go alone, cut my dog and she tore into the woods and put one up in about 5 minutes. Cut her again and she put one in a drain tile. Had a good night.

my buddy nate got 2nd overall in reg. saturday night with a redbone. hes the only one i know of. my other buddy didnt win his cast sat. night but still had 525+

Thats all I made also. Ike went 2 for 2 and with me being real sick I was tickled to load him up and head for the house lol. Got an ear ache, can barely swallow, good stuff.

Merle, It was nice hunting with you lastnight.. We really had a good time.. You have been workin with Blaze a lot and it shows!! I think you and Blaze will be hard to handle on Sat. as long as you get in some decent hunting..

Doug, I been trying to tell people....merle was out of the sport for awhile but he's back now, his name is new to most but hes not new to the sport, if anyone wants a guy that will truly hunt there dogs 5 nights a week and not sit on a comp. and talk about it he's the man! he earns his money the honest way...hell, he even road works them 4-5 nights a wk. (only because he likes riding the 4 wheeler) lol. Heck, he even gets those plotts to tree coon every once in awhile and there show dogs lol

Yeah Merle is a great guy and he knows how to get a dog ready for the hunts! Me and Tyson have really enjoyed hunting with him.. If anybody is looking for a guy to hunt their dog or get their dog ready for the hunts, Merle is the man for the job!

Well put Ike in his first hunt last night. It was a good crowd for the benefit hunt. Had like 50 something dogs. Ike got deep all 3 cuts and was all alone on 3 coon. Had 575 plus no circle no minus. Was good enough for 1st place registered. I was proud of him. He is a special young dog.

man that is a ugly son of a gun in the picture, maybe next time just have the dog and leave the handler out of it! lol!!! I would love to be hunting but been sick as heck for 2 weeks now and it ain't no fun!! coughing soo hard i have thrown my back out and my short ribs feel like i have a knife stuck in me!

i had the same thing you have. Had it for 7 days.. its some rough stuff.

Ikes first tree last night. My gosh he picked a nasty tree.

Next tree he gave there was a litter of kits maken all kinds of noise in.

I HUNTED BLAZE AND MY SPIDER FEMALE LAST NIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME TOGETHER, THEY WASTED NO TIME GETTING WAY YONDER TREED ON A BIG DEN WITH A COON ON THE OUTSIDE,
MADE A 2ND DROP AND THEY DID THE SAME THING GOT DEEP QUICK & TREED WITH THE MEAT, IM NOT SURE IF I WILL HUNT THOSE 2 TOGETHER UNLESS IM FEELING UP FOR A LITTLE WALK . THOSE 2 LIKE TO WORE ME OUT,

Haha I hear ya. One things forsure you won't get cold hunting that style of dog. I don't mind walking to a dog when they got the coon when i get there
