Kansas Hayes.

I'm on my 2nd one out of him. 2 very natural pups with alot going for them in alot of areas. They can both WIN, too.

It should be no surprise. I also started Kansas Hayes and once it clicked, he was THERE.

NITECH GRCH 'PR' PERRY'S RUSHCREEK OPPY

I've got a littermate to Tully's up above. I got him from Tully at around 8 weeks old and he took off from there. Teased him a little with the coon tail as a puppy, then took him to the woods and now he's been doing really well.

Maybe I can say my daughter trained him???

training pups / sires

Probably should re-word yer ? as to "who were the SIRE & DAM" of the last nice pup u had.............My years of messin w pups has taught me that in many cases the Sire of the litter many times dont mean squat to what it's bragged up to being ......I've had pups off my own unknown dogs that made pretty decent dogs and I've had pups off some of the big time reproducers that either were stupid or lazy or both ...................
MY ANSWER TO THE QUESTION>>>>>>>
SIRE OF NICE PUPS (huntin) ............
1. Runnin Rattler
2. Frosty Blue BoBo

I'm not say'in they are the best.......just been my best !
ya can train 'em to load and come but the hunt is there or not from the get-go..........

But I'd say in both cases the females played pretty high in the equation to....................JMO...............

Breezyoaks I agree that a female has a lot to do with the pup but one of the reasons of starting this thread was to possibly use it to identify reproducing sires who aren't advertised or known by people out of their nearby area. Of course my favorite part of coonhunting is when a natural pup clicks over and starts showing improvement almost every night. That is what keeps me interested in this sport after a few decades of doing it and I always like to hear about an exciting pup. I do have three females I intend to raise a litter out of in 2012 and this may be the thread to put me or someone else on to a sire they hadn't yet heard about.

Travis

i have to ask ya. do you only consider crossing your females on all grand studs, or studs that will only produce an all grand litter or does it not matter?

i know all your females are some of the best bred Grnitech females in the US that all have all-grand and are from generation after generation of your own females(which is a huge accomplishment). But i guess im just curious....Im sure its a plus and makes the pups you do not keep for yourself more marketable and appealing to the public . im just curious to know if you ever consider any stud that is not all grand?
