last nights hunt

Shelly went deep and got struck, Jason,s 2 dogs went about 300 yrds the other way, they treed and Shelly treed split really deep, fter 25 minutes of hard walking in the mud I arrived at her tree, not a big tree lots of vines but I think she missed it, jason did not fair much better, good size tree but could not find a coon, a front was moving in with heavy wind so we called it a night.

Hunted Shelly last night in the rain lots of water every where, we did not do any good though, struck one one track but kept hitting deep deep water, taking her again to night, some where were there,s not so much water, we will see how it goes...........Gerald

Tim, Hunting her in a hunt Jan. 7th at Tull, AR. possibly another the end of Jan. Garner, AR. I think it is, Trying to keep her in the Timber, Tough though lot,s of water every where, we hunted 5 of the last 6 nights, mostly in ankle to knee deep water, taking a break tonight, will hit again tomorrow night , Going to hunt her 7 straight nights by her self before the hunt, tough dealing with the elements, but it is what it is and were not letting up, good luck in the Timber, hope your felling good and don,t over do it moving, wish I was around to help you, say hi to Paul...........Gerald

hey Bo, water, water and water, around our knee,s all night, got treed once, a hour and a half to get to the tree, it was bad, how about your hunt,do any good.............Gerald

i figured thats how it was gonna be down there with all the rain we've gotten lately... well there's was a rabbit with sore feet this morning... but being the first time ive taken the pup to the woods and it was by himself i was actually very pleased... one night we need to get together and tree 1...

shelly shined last night

hunted shelly last night, jason had a female, pete had a male, we cut lose they all struck 75 yards in on a slew, jasons female went left, the male wnt with her for 50 yards fell treed shelly went to the right hitting it and there 400 yards fell treed, male had a slick tree other female never treed, shelly had the meat and I brought him down on he sweet, made two dens after that.....Gerald

Hunting here is still pretty good for the most part. Its been in the 40s to 50s during the day and in the low to upper 20s at night. Still treeing coon most every night. Today its suppose to to be in the 50s and tomorrow in the upper 60s can't believe its Jan in Mo. we should be up to our knees in snow this time of year. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining, I will take this all winter long...........Tim

monday night hunt

hunted shelly, some friends hunted 2 walker dogs, and Jason hunted a blue female, shelly and a walker male struck on one side of the road, the other walker( wipe out) and jasons dog struck on the opposite side, shelly and the male ran a coon for about 20 to 25 minutes in and out of water, shelly put the silent treatment on for about 30 seconds then fell on a tree like you dropped her from an air plane, the walker came in and treed about a minute behind her, super was served up, yep coon stew, she had the meat, across the road they settled for 3 kittens about 40 minutes later, another good job by shelly.
