Put my in her first hunt the other night and put a cast win on her. Nothing special, treed one to herself, had a good den alone, then ran some trash She is the right kind though. Have heard good things about some others in the cross but haven't hunted with them myself.

How many pups does trip have on the ground? How is he bred?

Posted by Larry Atherton on 03-06-2012 05:13 PM:

His sire is White Trash. Same litter as Molly, Joker, and several other top walkers. His dame was the number two female on the current reproducers list Gold Ch.Ch. Gr.Nt.Ch. Sumpreme Gr.Nt.Ch. Crocker's Quick Flash. Flash was out of Cord and a female named Threat.

I am sure his pedigree is somewhere on this web site.

What kind of traits did trip put in his pups? Size, mouth , brains, tree, track ect? I have a chance to get a male pup, and Im trying to get as much info on him as possible, i know nothing about him other than i heard a vid of him treed..WOW...BOOMING ECHOING MOUTH..he sounded awesome..Looks to me like trip was Clover on top, and sacket on bottom, I did find the ped of his litermate.

Posted by SamClark on 03-06-2012 08:36 PM:

I have seen a few, started two and am finishing a female. Action-packed, quick strike, quick tree, plenty of mouth and most have better than average to downright amazing mouths, medium built and several have wins on bench and in hunts..don't know how many are nt. ch., but only the oldest are two yrs. old. Mine will be a nt. ch. soon. I believe the greatest thing that he may have thrown will be proven in his pups, the ability to produce winners the way Trash, Flash, Threat, Yaya, Clover, and Cord did.

Trip's oldest pups won't be 2 tell May 1st. I like what he seemed to throw. IMO, it's a shame he was stolen from my kennel cause I feel he would of had a HUGE impact on the walker breed

I agree its a shame because I think he would have been good to outcross to my female.

Very sorry for your loss Jesse Dunagen. Jesse had a outstanding young female out of Trip and lost her a few nights back. Hope you can get back in the saddle soon buddy.

Had good reports on a couple of the cross-bred pups off Trip and Dolly. Thunder, owned by Justin Thume of Gladwin, MI, treed his first coon alone last night. I know he's treed several turned loose but I believe this is the first time he's been cast alone. His littermate sister, owned by Mike Hopkins, saw her first coon yesterday and the report I got was she's coon crazy and loud and had no trouble trailing and treeing. I signed a paper for lost puppy papers for a pup in Ohio that is being paid up and SS'd so I'm guessing he's showing his owner something. There are five still alive out of the seven she had. I haven't heard anything from the two in KY. I am pretty sure the pup in OH is going to be single registered as a black and tan in UKC. That was what the lady from the other registry told me, did not speak to his owner.
