Words don't make a song country. Its all about the rythm. If you don't understand that you won't understand me. I don't care if they talk about daddys tractor hood. I'm talking about the Steel Guitar and the fiddle. There are some good new country songs just very few.

he is a down to earth country boy. he had fans at breakfast and my wife and i made it in. he sang some of he new stuff this was three years ago.

I do like some of the new stuff. Like Blake's new one Honey bee, also like his wife Miranda Lambert's music. My favorite song out there today is Luke Bryan's " Country girl shake it for me"

All good ones! I like to branch out and find obscure artists that are still playing the honkytonks. I spend a lot of time on the road, so I get sick of hearing the same junk on the radio 40 times a day. A hound friend of mine turned me on to a band from near where we live called Outshyne...they're pretty good for a new group.

I'm a fan of the old outlaw country myself, so I tend to go for the newer music that has that "sound." Keep an ear out for a new artist named Matt Mason later on in the year. He won CMT's little version of American Idol this year, and actually has a really authentic country sound. I'm looking forward to seeing what he'll come out with.
