Yep every one of these better than thoughs would cry becouse most clubs would be shut down and they would get beat at the ones that were left. LMAO

Im talking about dogs that will actually go off hunting. Not the ones you have to walk around. Crap that kind should come back. They have no drive!

I am going to do my best to be at Autumn Oaks this year. Anyone and everyone is welcome to go hunting with me any time. Come on down.
I have a gyp out of Extream Insane X. Come see if you think she has some drive or will handle. 1 1/2 years old and nothing fancy but will come when called. LOL

I'll just judge. I know full well my young one ain't coming. Heck I really don't want her to. I had to take a switch to her tonight just to get her gone. Then it really was not as fast and hard as I like for one to. Now my old one has a handle unless she's treed but she still wears the collar every time I cut her. I can turn her on dime with it if she's within range.

You tickle me so much. All I ever accomplished with one of them is say hyar!! Like I mean it and I do, and put them in high gear headed for swamps unknown . If I ever do one again, it will be in the house where it can't take off from LOL. Mine could be coming when I hit the button and I could turn mine on a dime headed the other way, haulin it.

just got in from hunting. had 3 older hounds that handle great and straight as an arrow and 2 young pups. dogs got on a bad track (not real sure it was a coon), got within 450 yards from them and decided to call them out. the only one that came was my pup. of course we did say them older dogs ain't never done that before. lol
I guess dogs will be dogs.

I gotta say I'm really surprised at the amount of emphasis placed on calling in your dog. I hunt nothing but square miles, almost all of it blacktop and I honestly cannot even remember the last time I or and the guy that handles our dogs had any reason to call one in at a hunt. I can't recall the last time I called one in pleasure hunting. I get mine off the tree or I don't have a reason to get them. As for roads, just like dog fights and cheating, it is a much bigger worry on this message board than it is in the woods.

Our dogs always wear an e-collar thru the week. They don't wear one in a hunt. They are training collars and you don't train at a hunt.

I think I would enjoy the heck out of hunting with you and DAWG. I live in Indiana but a long way from AO. I'd love to get up a hunt with you guys and we wouldn't need no freakin judges.

Yep thick coon is what I would say. I am learning more about that thin coon deal since we have had several months of drought and distemper takeing a heavy toll on ours.
I would like to hunt with you though Jim if I ever get the chance. I find most people a lot of fun to hunt with.
