Sure hate to hear it. Guess all of that mating is gone.
Had to put the Molly pup up for turkey season. Hated to do it cause she had just started treeing on squirrels. Turkey season goes out May 7, and by that time I'll have the garden in. Then I'm going to turn her back out until she starts to get in trouble.

Well Blaster is still irony as ever. He is fat and gets whatever he wants but I am sure this will be his year to pass on as well. Crystal is in heat so she is up for a while. Jonny is working on Baby right now. He came home this weekend. He won his cast on Friday night and got what he needed for NITE CH so Jonny wants to try and finish him out.

Nathan has a surgery a few weeks ago and I do believe he is feeling much better. I know he looked like he was feeling pretty good when we saw him and he has been able get out into the woods which I know makes him happy.

They sure are looking good. Maximus has the Blaster tree style. Molly thinks she's a rabbit dog all of a sudden. I'm going to let her run them for a while. Might make a better track dog out of her.
Sky is bred to Y.R.Heart and due June 14 and Sweet Pea is bred to Y.R. Curt and due June 21. Eric is here now to pick up Sky. I can't handle raising two litters at one time.

Those will be nice crosses. I will need something to cross back over Maximus in the future if he keeps going in the right direction. He is definitely turning out to be a nice hound. He is a big dog with a big mouth but handles quite well in the woods. He has a lot of bawl which I like so it all worked out. He brother Curly is super loud. I love listening to him in the woods and hopefully we will get a good picture of them both on the tree soon. Make sure you post some pictures of those pups of Sweet Pea/Curt.

Turned a caged coon loose for Molly [ hitch x zip111]. Turned it out on her here in the yard and let her bay and fight it till it treed. She did a good job on it. Would have got some pictures but I've learned the secret to a happy marriage around here is to not mess with the wifes photography equipment when shes not around. Guess I'll have to go to the drugstore and buy me an el cheapo.
Molly has all the makings, just hope that high pitched mouth will change. I think it will cause she has a big heavy mouth when she booger barks at something. If it doesn't she will call in every coyote in the country.
Don't give up on me, I'll get some pictures on here before long.

Crystal has a high pitch squeak too but when she settles in she rolls over to a deep chop.

Yesterday Max (dachshund) and Molly got after a coon down on the creek behind the house and ran him up the creek, by the house, and thru the culbert on the road and treed him not far above the road. Lucky my boss was home and came to see what the ruckus was about and brought her phone. Hope this works!

Sure am happy to see this worked cause like a gal once told me, " I ain't never done this before". Anyway, I always suspected she was lying but I know Max and Molly weren't cause he was sitting there plain as day. Had to call Nathan and let him listen to it. The longer she stayed treed the better mouth she had. Her mouth is just starting to change. I could speak to her and encourage her and her mouth would get higher and after she settled back down her mouth would get deeper.
Molly loves to style out on the bench so I think I'll put her in a show this coming Friday. Just hope I have some competition. Later, Jack

Same mouth as crystal when she was younger but she is starting to grow out of it. I liked the video. Nathans mother in law passed away so he has been busy helping Carol. I hope we can visit them in july when Roman has All Stars in Covington.

This is my 7 year old female.Never had any pups.Pretty good coondog.Not a real hard tree dog but likes to have the meat and will stay till the cows come home.This night on the first drop she treed a opposum lol and the next 2 drops she had the coon.This is last drop and she was getting pretty hot.Please dont make fun of the corny good girl and your hot girl lol,I love my dogs.Think about breeding her the next time she comes in but not for sure on what would cross with her good.

I'm real familiar with the topside of your dog. If I'm not mistaken, the Katie bitch is White Oak bred, which is also heavy Yadkin River. The young man that sent those dogs to N.Y. doesn't live far from me. Looks like he's made you a pretty good dog.
