WI, Highland; BBOA Youth Championship From Cobb, take Hwy. 80 N for 4.2 mi. Then, go east on Bills Road for 1 mi. Dead end to club house. Lots of prizes have been donated and will be given out! Contact Russ Downing (608) 822-3427 or Robbie Brooks (414) 405-8645 or Ben Mick (608) 574-5197

Just wish there was a lil more of a response from our fellow zone III members?? You guys that said there was gona be boxes comin with various balls,bats etc.. Would appreciate them arriving so we know what we got? Gettin down to crunch time!

My wife Shelly & I spent our second time of a couple hours with the Trophy folks we decided to go with here locally. They seem to be awsome folks headed up by an eldely lady & her family. No experience with the requirements on these thus the time spent.

We have a full set of "DONATED" trophies for the water race & the drag race. We was seven short so I added six of my own to the collection & we only need one built. Tags changed & some minor swappin out of this or that & their ready. Four sets of three.

We have the giant trophies donated by Mr. Tom Jennings as "First place & Hi-Scoring dog" & "Overall show champion". They are in the 50" plus zone.

We have a set bein built with 2nd-10th,Two each of GrCh,Ch & BOS show winners. Everyone that enters up will get a Participant ribbon so all will get something.

Should we have Breed trophies for the show? I havn't but could get some I guess? I just figured with the amount of stuff thats gona be in the raffle everybody should be very happy,"I HOPE"?

My best way to get feedback I guess is pretty much via this.

"WE",as the National Chartered Breed organization "SHOULD","ALWAY'S" do any & everything we can to support this event. To me this is more important than the big boy's hunt that comes with the arguin & attitudes.

Attitudes will need to be left at the gait please. Anybody that gets wadded up about anything that could remotely reflect any kind of negative cloud over this event WILL BE asked to leave. We have a designated removal crew but I'm sure we ain't gona need'ta gather'um.

I just want the most enjoyable "POSATIVE" experience we can for OUR kids. FUN & MEMORABLE.....

Several calls from kids & parents that have never been to anything like this so lets do what we can to make them active members in our beloved sport!!

Keep the donations comin & have the dawgs ready for the kids!!!

Our dogs are test driving the swim pond. It's Awsome & I'm lookin forward to that as much as anything. The most visable workin dog event that all unfamiliar with what we do can see. Big pond & purty dang clean as well.....

Been invitin lota local folks to come & watch.

There will be food available. Your basic barbecue,hotdogs,tator salad,chips etc. Kids will all get a free meal ticket.

Thinkin to have the treein contest after the feild trial & the coon squallin contest after the water race. Times are split up the way I did them so dawgs have some R&R time & us in between.

Would like to see some mentoring goin on. If you see a young lad or lady that could use some guidence practicin on the bench don't be afraid to maybe give some polite suggestions or show them something that may help them out. I like'ta approach people & ask if I can give some suggestions? Normally well received but I have had some teeth shown to me as a polite way of saying,"I KNOW IT ALL",an asumption of course.

We all got teeth but I ain't never been bit doin it yet !

Any suggestions for educational gatherins? Do they ever do that?

Change of plans... We're coming up Saturday morning rather than Friday night. Central Iowa Coon Hunters Ass. in Legrand had a lot of storm damage from Sunday's storm, and I'm gonna take some equipment down and help clean up Friday afternoon.

Good rappin with ya this morning Tully & thanks for puttin the effort forth to try & get donations. The DVD ya got about handlin fur will be enjoyed by some lucky youngster. It is hard to get it to happen from local business' when the event is so far away & thats understandable.

Lookin like several promised will not be showin up. Troublesome considering some of the people packin big heads & their position's in our coonhound community. We still have three days worth of mail to come before the raffle/drawing so there is time if'n its gottin after rite now,today,maybe priority mail???

Obviuosly by thee amount of donation's there "ARE" people who care about our future & we are extremely thankful for that,without question! Just seem's like it could be supported a lot better but it is what it is & the show will go on. We're makin sure of that!

Gona be a "GREAT DAY" saturday !!!!!

I been told of one group of 6 comin & two of five! On track to be a lot of fun with a lot of kids in attendence!
