we have sweet tea up here, I seen it at meijers super market in the ethnic section, it said rite on the can southern style sweet tea, but it had quite a bit of dust on the cans. LOL

Last time I was in Fredericksburg VA the only place i could get Sweet tea was waffle house the restaurants only had iced tea not sweet tea they'd give ya sugar packets. Hell I told em atleast we made unsweetened tea if somebody wanted it and ya can't just add sugar to cold tea ya needed to sweetened it while it was hot lol

I made a few trips down south into GA and ALA but could'nt
make it back north fast enuff. no wonder you guys lost the war.
how can you guys drink those mint julips.
give me some sweet corn fry me a big ol ribye with a big ole baked potator and a few cold 'old milwakee's and i'm a happy man.LOL GO IOWA HAWKEYES

Good riddance!

Well actually we like steak and taters, corn ect. You don't know much bout the south after all. Any family style restaurant here serves food like that! I guess you got sent home too soon!

Yep. We do! We raise our own down here tho....

CORN raised just like me! Nothin' better then a slow cooked steak on the grill~thro some shrimp and oysters FROM the sea and your good to go.

U left the South too soon.....make some great BBQ down here too! It wasn't our lack of cooking skills that lost us that war....

I think it's because of the crossing of yankee blood in our breeding stock. Got that way after the invasion.

that could be true LOL, talk about good eats, I am a butcher and yesterday I cut 12- 2 inch ribeye steaks for a customer, that cost him $188 bucks, a little thick for me, but my favorite steak for sure
