You can not throw all non hunting judges under the bus because of the actions of a few. On average all the hunts would be better in non hunting judges were used however this will never be a reality but sometimes the situation calls for it.

SO it was stroming bad huh? Could that be why the fellas dog wouldn't leave the casts feet? There's a thought! Lack of details causes confusion, confusion makes people jump to conclusions.

CWS that dog would not leave our feet cause it is a P.O.S that storm had nothing to do with it. That dog was not scared at all. and you know you will never ever get enough people at events to have a non hunting judge. and you tell me according to the rule book is it rule saying that buddies, girlfriend/boyfriend, family members cant draw out together as long as both the names are not on the papers. No so you dont need a non hunting judge. This has nothing to do with the club they held a very good event.

Cws what were they sopose todo even if the dog was standing buy there feet? Call interference? The dog wasnt to scared to go out when other dogs were open?

I was in the grand night cast and wanted a non hunting judge so dont think i let one crook keep me down and spoil it for all

The owner would not shine the tree, so the other cast member and I shined, decided to minus the tree. Dog C's owner told the guide, I saw the coon walking in but i'm not letting her get plus points. UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT! Tree is voted on a minus.

2nd drop: same thing dog A and B get gone, Dog C sits at our feet. Dog B is struck in for first, dog A struck in second. Dog C takes off to those dogs and strike in for third. Eventually Dog C is called for first tree, followed by Dog A for second, dog B for third. walk to the tree, guide says maybe all walk in together to see what the dogs are doing. Walk in Dog C is walking around with its nose on the ground, I pointed it out to the owner, he still disagreed. Minused her for going back on trail. owner of Dog B says to minus his dog for going to a different tree and coming back. Dog A is still on tree. Dog C's owner barely shined the tree at all, we voted to circle it. it was a Huge mess in there. after we voted coon was seen. Tree is still circled no plus awarded.

3rd drop: drop dogs, dog A and B take off. C sits at our feet. owner wants to walk his dog in the woods more cause she needs direction.... i mention, well the other dogs are gone.... I start the 30 minutes on the dog for failure to hunt. 25 minutes goes by, Dog A is struck in and soon followed by a tree call.Dog B is struck in deeper. Dog C runs off in that direction. The 2 is started on Dog A and is minused when the 2 expired. Dog C gets in and is struck and treed where dog A was. dog A comes back and trees and is called in for 2nd. 5 expires we walk in to a tree that you can fit your hand around. Dog A and B come in and are minused. owner of dog C shines the tree which you could see the WHOLE thing.... he proceeds to shine for the whole 10 minutes trying to waste hunting time for the rest of the cast because this minus puts him at 475 and out of the hunt. Tree is minused.

dog A and B continue the hunt Dog C and owner left. We made 1 more circle tree that night. Now should i have scratched him for being unsportsman like or what i did was right? oh he also stated that they are just gonna screw me cause they are boyfriend/girlfriend. well i didn't pick my cast, he was hunting a dog with different peoples names on it and i minused his dog and mine. no favoritism going on at all....

Can that rule be found on the card, or is that something you would like to add to the card. That would certainly make for an interesting end to a Nite Hunt.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! NOT THE DOG. I WAS TALKING ABOUT SHOOTING THE OWNER!!!!!!!!!!! With a guy like that the dog probubly didn't have a chance to be a good one. LOL
I don't mind hunting with sory dogs. It is unsportsman like people that mess up a good night out. A bad dog won't bother a good one but a bad person can sure suck the fun out of a night.LOL

I will add one more thing, I notice you and redbone chic have the same dog listed in youre signature, also I will add this. So the club could provide a NON HUINTING guide but not a non hunting judge? That sounds screwey in an of itself.

You say the dog was a P.O.S for not hunting in pouring rain and thunder? Shoot I have two good dogs and depending on how bad the storm is they will not hunt either.

Redbone chic you said "he cant wait to meet me again" and I can't help but wonder why.

CWS by the time we got to the hunt it was no longer storming it turned out to be a pretty nice night when the storm passed it took us a while to get to the woods so that dog had no excuse and so what if we have the same dogs on our signature i had that dog way before i knew her so i am not going to send in the papers and change the name on her now is there some new rule saying we cant have eachothers dogs on our signature. and you can not help if the guide would not be a judge we told them we would rather have him judge but how do you make someone that does not want to be.

well... when barely anyone enters the hunt and you only have a few qualified to judge, and there is no one willing to judge or be a non hunting judge i guess thats just no possible... and i don't believe it is the clubs RESPONSIBLITY to know who is together or friends or whatever, they're responsibility is to put people in the woods....and as you can read in the above posts.. NO ONE WON THE CAST. looks like an honest judge to me if neither her or her boyfriend came in with plus after that guy left....

as you can read on the signature it says HOME OF not OWNED BY dumb a@@ get it straight. I'm really sick of reading your post when you think your so right.... and well its easier to find a non hunting GUIDE because they aren't hunting a DOG... DUH most people there are hunting dogs and don't want the responsiblity of holding the card. and also in previous posts it said the STORM STOPPED so the dog had no reason to sit there, but it had no problem going out when the other dogs started something up for it... did you get that...

and as for your last response... what are you meaning by that? i know her from a few events she's been to like red days for one and he probably can't wait to meet her again cause her was to busy staring at her butt in them jeans and not worrying about watching his dog leave the tree..... could that be why he wouldn't mind meeting her again or please inform me on what you meant by that cause i sure am curious to know......

and agreed it does say home of not owned by. i own nothing of that dog.

maybe you, CWS, should come here and show this club how they should be doing things cause you sound like your an expert on all of this stuff.....

This is not a personal battle between me and anyone else on the thread. I, for one know that after I JUDGE A CAST I do not NEED TO GO AROUND ASKING EVERYONE WAS I HONEST? DID I DO THAT RIGHT? If I do need to ask someone(s) oppinion on my judgeing skills then my guess is I shouln't have been doing it to begin with.

Shoot you as well as youre boyfriend could have done it honest I can't say forsure but I will tell you I HAVE BEEN THAT 3RD CAST MEMBER GOING UP AGAINST TWO "FRIENDS" AND THRE MAJORITY OF THE CASTS THIS OCCURES ON I LEAVE FEELING CHEATED. That's why the club should do everything in its power to give a non hunting judge to keep the 3RD member from leaving angry and mad at all competition hunters.

Also, you said he was "walking behind her all night" that is his job! His job is to always be behind the judge ESPECIALLY WALKING INTO TREES.

I would say any judge that thinks heor she is beyond asking questions has more of an ego problem than I would want for a judge. I have seen some pretty good debates from knowledgable peoole on here on rules issues. LOL

Sounds like my grand kids" I can promise you". I allways tell them if your word is good everyone knows it and you never have to promise anything. I guess if you are afraid to put your name behind your words you would have to promise every thing to get anyone to beleive it. Kind of like the phone calls wanting your social security number. LOL

I'm the reason huh? Nevermind the fact that I take pride in being honest and do my absolute best to make sure the best dog in the cast that night gets a cw. A few of the major crooks I have drew out with I did my very best to get under there skin, I wanted them to hit me! I figure I will take a few hits to see some of the rif raf gone. Sadly nobody has ever hit me, I wonder why. I will let this go, redbone chic, raindude, you know full and well if you were honest or not.

you tell me where you are from and what hunt you will be at next and ill come up and you can get under my skin ,and i am the rif raf ill hit ya before we even go to the woods if you dont leave alex alone ,my number is there call me let me know what hunt you will be at and ill show up and we will fig all this stuff out ,it really that easy
