Youth hunt

I attended the youth hunt at Norwood,N.C. yesterday and i would just like to congratulate David Gardin,Johnny Chapman And everyone else involved for putting on such a fine event.This was a beautiful location and a great crowd.All of these young hunters deserve respect and credit for taking part in this event and for being tough enough to handle two hours of hunting in that intense heat and humidity.Us maybe a little bit older hunters were suffering but held on.To all of the naysayers that think little of todays youth,you should have been there,I never heard the first kid complain,all I saw was excitement and joy in being there and taking part in this great;yes GREAT;event.The highlight was the awards presentation ceremony,a room full of happy excited kids,it dont get no better than that.I wen't on a cast with James Spivey and his son Hunter.Hunter did a fine job handling and his dog rock won the cast an looked good,he had a good mouth and was a classy stylish tree dog.This was Hunters first cast and you better look out he will be a force in the future.Dakota Coleman and his dog Pete did a super job and if he had'nt left early would have been a contender.Mark this date on your calendar and next year load up the family and come on out.Yes the family,this is a family affair.Dee and Bill I'm ready let's go get them.

I know im guilty of it,every time I see an older coon hunter sitting around I try to go pick their mind,for any info possible that can help me out and so far its paying off,Mr.Meeks is always a phone call away if I won't to know about a dog or a dog problem he never seems to mind me calling,well he never lets me know it if he does lol.Johnny Chapman always has a quick fix if need be.It was a great event can't wait to next year.Thanks to all...............................................ps....Tell the girls i'll tturn them back at the buddy hunt lol.
