Robert Shelton's "Shelton's Hammer"

Robert is a Great Guy !! Took me hunting some with Hammer and Queen together, Queen hadn't been hunted in a while so she was a bit slow getting going and I think She balled up a Possum right at the start .. Hammer went very deep very Fast and Treed up . Then The Rain Came in Buckets and a long walk back to the trucks !!!!!!!

For being right a 10 years old Hammer can flat out Move a Track Fast !!

The kids are 2 weeks old today........Ranging from 3 lbs. 2 ounces to a whopping 3 lbs 15 ounces....There are some BIG boys in this group......
Eyes are starting to open...although everytime I have the camera, the little monsters are sleeping....LOL !!!!

Man they are healthy boogers. We have been rotating our young pups each day from the kennel to the house. Axle has been enjoying all the different ones coming to play with him for the day. It is good for them to run around with all the other dogs loose at the house plus coming in and out the house plus the scary basement steps.

Not sure what made a bigger mess.......My daughters eating rice cereal for the first time, or these kids eating their mashed food for the first time tonight.....???? I'll tell you what, they put a hurtin on it !!! Little eatin machines......

and not long there after, mommy had-em spotless ...man, they are growing fast !!!!!

Wow!

Them pups are lookin great! Man seems like the first few weeks they grow in leaps and bounds then they seem to stay the same size forever. Especially when you are waiting on them to grow enough to start hunting.

Got new dog on sunday. Some one decided that they didnt want a american bulldog so they dropped him on the road sat night and he found us on sunday. My buddy mark said he seen the dog in the back of a pickup sat. afternoon with a collar. When he seen Mark he took off and Mark couldnt catch him. Man they just pee in my wheaties when they do that. Well regardless he showed up here no collar and lookin like he was lost. But he is extremely freindly and like the kids so I guess we will feed him. May try him on hogs see if he wants to catch or not.

I weighed the kids last night......the "3 week" mark.....
Would you believe I have 4 pups nearly 6 pounds ???...and the other 2 are almost 5 pounds.....
We're taking the whelping pool out today and giving the kids more room to stretch......They're almost paper trained LOL !!!!!

Steve I really like the looks of the tonka dog also! Need to see some pics of frosty! He has grown up so much since the day he was runnin round here. I bet he would really give the cats heck now!! I get a kick out of Freddy and Belle they are the 2 most layed back hounds I have ever had. Ole Belle really likes her water, loves to play in it. Fred he is just content to lay around and be lazy. May try to get some new pics of them this afternoon while we are messin around.

Your Male has his Pops Head to a "T" Looks just like Blu (with a little more ear)

Everyone of the pups by what I have seen Have Perfict Feet well knockeled large and round ..

I have been working 6 days a week and 15 to 16 hours a day so not much time for any playing. Should be done with wheat silage in a week or so then it will slow back down. We still got a bunch of hogs around dogs probably a little stale at the moment. But Stan when you decide to head this way give us a call and we will make sure we can get you in some hogs. I get a kick out of Belle and Freddy both the are funny to watch. Dutchess is easy goin layed back. Typical Bloodhound just big and lovable!! I am tryin to find out her breeding that would help me know what direction to head with her. She is loud and bawl all the way but loves them big kitties and bears!
