We sure had some great times with Dad and uncle Ronald with those dogs. They are the reason we still got them today. We had a good weekend when you were up with those plotts. Don't forget some of those Bacon Creek dogs we hunted with as well.

Bring your GrNt and drop him with a six year old NtCh or 5 Yr old Nt Ch. I promise I won't be embarrassed.

KC titles don't measure a coondog.

Chris why would you hunt against an idiot like that, anyone that makes a statement like that proves his intelligence. Those are the kind of people you want to leave in the woods. LOL

Fast

Jeramiah Johnsons Gravedigger dog, man he was quick.

I guided a dog named doc in the winter classic one year. Real coon dog. He won the cast and placed real high in the classic. He might have won it. He was tight on the ground and deep and alone with coons.

My experience with the breed has been pretty limited. I looked at one that a guy had for sale but he didn't suit me. Terry Monceaux had a female named Lace back in the early 90's that was pretty impressive. I believe she was a pup out of Heat but might be mistaken.

Posted by Jamie Henderson on 08-21-2012 12:38 AM:

That was his name. Was probably one of the better dogs I've ever hunted with.

Still looking for one to replace him, Todd. Thanks for rekindling the memories of the many hunts we had with Ole Bronc.

Im a black dog guy but hunted with a ton of plotts over the years. Zinks Bayou Cash hands down for me. Nice mouth, independent, and nice accurate tree dog. Made for some interesting casts since mine was very similar. Have nothing but good things to say about the guys that hunted him either.

Does anyone know if there is any dogs off of Doc. Or just some dogs from that line around. I would love to find a 6 or 7 yo coon freeing plott.

The Razor dog is off of Doc I believe. North Georgia razor I believe is his name. I also know of a REAL nice bear dog off of Doc in Southern WV. I would have to find what they call him though.
