Any meds. you can put in a dogs food you can put in theres. You just have to know how many are feeding there. Not an exact science but it can be done. Antibiotics even Ivomec things like that can be given and you can rap toe sacks around a post and soak with used mottor oil for mange on yotes or any thing else that gets it BUT that is the biggest hog draw you will find if you have hogs. The oil stops there dry skin itch I guess but they really like it.

I wish they made something to treat coon for distemper through feeders..I dont think it is an overpopulation thing..I think its more weather related..Ours have it every few years its seems like..We have not had any coon much now in 5 years!!! Have saw em dead in fields and saw em stumbling around sick..Gotta be distemper..

I would take to a vet. If you know how many are coming to your feeder you might be able to put the distemper shot in the feed. Don't know how acurate the dosage has to be. I know a friend of mine shoots his yotes just like dogs before they go in his pen and I think he gives some meds threw feed too.
The hog thing though I am sure of. Used mottor oil on a rub is better than any food you can put out. If you trap them and use corn for your trap you can allso put a little diesel on the corn to keep the deer and crows from eating it. It don't stop the hogs. Bait will stay till they come.
One other thing, a friend of mine traps hogs. He uses horse pannels like cattle but 4" square holes and frames them with square tubeing 2 pannels high. Makes a square out of 4 of them and puts a guillotine type trap door at one corner. He runs a cable from the triger around one side and behind the hog troff he puts toward the back. The hogs line the front and dont trip the door till they get to fighting and go to the back of the troff. He catch's several at a time this way. Oh anker it down or they will root under and if not 2 high they will jump out.
