As far as i know i have only hunted with one pup out of Big D and he was all coondog! did an outstanding job. was very quick to strike but was a very honest strike dog. he was very accurate and could drive a track with style. when he treed he was there to stay. i had never met the owner until the night we drew out and was very impressed with the dog and the handler. both class acts! by the way we where hunting in heavy coon population. this dogs name was Double D and he was deffenatly not a babbling idiot. i would take this dog to the woods anytime and be very proud to have him on my lead.

I have hunted with one pup off of Big D. The pup is now around two yrs old. Goes hunting BIG. Outstanding hound mouth, First (HONEST) Strike dog. Very impressive. Sounds like a hound. Reminds me of Laurel Creek Jeff. I thinks this dogs mama is named Ann.
Can someone post a picture of Big D

My D pup is starting to turn it on. Treein coon alone, drifts a track like a seasoned coondog, opens here and there. Nice bawl mouth tree dog.
Anyone else doin good?
TRAVIS LETS SEE A PICTURE. THAT PUP WON'T ALWAYS BE A BAWL MOUTH TREEDOG THEY ARE GONNA BE NICE THOUGH.
I'll get a pic with weekend. Hows yours comin?
I havent been getting to hunt much because of class but mines been a natural so far.
Hes bawl and chop with another dog but a roar type bawl alone.

YOU NEED A NEW HAT (ha ha)
Travis I have a female that looks almost identical to your male pup.. what is the female he is off of? only her face has more white on it.
ANGIE PUPS MOTHER IS GRNTCH PKC CH GUNSLINGIN LADY.
thats not the same litter as mine but boy they could be litter mates, they both must of just took after their daddy.

My d pup doesn't go hunting all that well yet. She goes out and comes back in could careless about the other dogs normally, will tree a little. Turned a caged coon lose for her she did good on that. Sure hates a coon though. I'll keep you updated on sweet d

Mine is the most hard headed pup I have ever had. Haven't started him yet but had him out a couple times. Never seen a cage coon but shot a couple out to him and he sure hates a coon. Loud mouth. Prolly get him started this winter when kill season opens and then get serious next spring. Our Homer pup is the bigger priority right now.

Sweet d is 11 months old now this past weekend she treed a coon by herself and now she has no problem going hunting old dogs go one way and she goes the other, not overly mouth on ground and a real good tree dog. She locks it down like an old dog.. Gonna be fun hunting her
