THERE ARE ALOT OF PEOPLE HERE IN JACKSON COUNTY THAT KNOW US. IF THEY DONT KNOW US THEY KNOW SOMEONE WHO KNOWS US.

WE RETRIEVED THE TRACKING COLLAR FROM THE RIVER YESTERDAY.

ACE WAS NOT WITH IT. WHICH WE WERE PRETTY SURE HE WASNT.

THE COLLAR WAS UNBUCKLED, SO IT HAD IN FACT BEEN TAKEN OFF INTENTIONALLY. WHICH WE WERE PRETTY SURE IT WAS.

BUT NOW EVERYTHING HAS BECOME SOLID. CONCRETE EVIDENCE THAT HE HAS IN FACE BEEN STOLEN AND IS STILL MISSING.

WE'VE POSTED FLYERS UP AT STOP SIGNS. I'M PRINTING OUT SOME TO TAPE TO DOORS AND ON MAILBOXES.

IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO PUT INSIDE MAILBOXES, BUT YOU CAN PUT ON THE OUTSIDE.

WE ARE MAKING SIGNS TO PUT OUT AS WELL.

ANYONE THAT IS A MEMBER OF ANY KIND OF FORUM, FEEL FREE TO POST A LINK TO THIS THREAD!

OK. I HAVE FORWARDED THE MESSAGE TO EVERYONE THAT ASKED.

WE ALSO GOT A LEAD THAT CAME FROM A FORWARDED TEXT ABOUT A WALKER DOG RAN OVER AT THE BRYSON CITY EXIT #67.

THAT IS ABOUT 5 MILES FROM WHERE ACE WAS LAST SEEN.

A FRIEND OF OURS WENT TO LOOK AND THE DOG WAS ALREADY GONE.

EITHER IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE'S OR IT HAD BEE PICKED UP BY THE DOT ALREADY. OUR FRIEND WAS GOING TO THE DOT TO FIND OUT IF THE DOG HAD BEEN PICKED UP AND IF IT HAD WHERE WOULD IT BE SO WE CAN FIND OUT IF IT WAS HIM.

Christy, I have posted your information on a bunch of forums but here in VA it is typical for some to pick your dog up and remove the collar throw it in a creek and take the dog a 100 miles or so to an animal shelter. How close are you to virgina? and have you check any VA animal shelters on the boarding counties.

THE RESPONCE AND HELP FOR ACE HAS BEEN TOTALLY OVERWHELMING. I'VE WENT TO SEVERAL SITES TO POST ADS, AND PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY POSTED IT.

MY MIND IS SUCH A JUMBLE, EVEN THE SIMPLEST THINGS I CANT THINK. LIKE I DIDNT EVEN THINK TO POST IT ON COONDAWGS, TILL MONDAY!

AS GOD IS MY WITNESS IF ANYONE ON HERE THAT HAS VOLUNTEERED THEIR TIME HELPING LOOK FOR ACE, OR FORWARDED A MESSAGE OR ANYTHING, IF (GOD FORBID) THEY ARE EVER IN THIS SITUATION, WITH EITHER HAVE A DOG STOLEN, OR EVEN JUST LOST, I WILL DO MY VERY BEST TO RETURN THE FAVOR.
