Just be takin a showdawg or two...........Fresh track's all over the lane this mornin...........Could turn loose from the yard lite..........Might be a lil extra noise or a pup or two show up & a been in the dryer to long shrunk up lil walker dawg!!

Gottin stuck I reckon...LOL!! Matt & I went,took "Bum" & "Patch".

Sure was awsome listening to the holler echoin from them. "Patch" is a lil extra heavy on the volume & was lettin'er happen in a big way.

When we went & picked him up to say he was over weight would be a major understatement though. He's gettin trimmed down & just exactly what we been lookin for as far as volume & size. Built like a mack truck on roid's. Guessin around 75 lbs now since he has been put on the Jenny Craig/TT diet & exercize rasheam with a lot of help from Matt in the runnin the lard off'n him department.

With a lil luck he'll be standin purty at that state gatherin. Don't know till saturday morn If'n I will make it myself or not but really hopin to. Guess it depend's on how bad them Mayo clinic Doc's mess me up before that & how slappin the trail on these dang gum frost heaved roads gets'ta me. Either way he'll have a ready handler.

After another stint at the hospital saturday night after watchin Matt get the "Boy's" & the potential to be there again last night I duno I reckon?

The cave dweller's are a callin me..........Probably gotta poop ?

at least for this time of year! you know its a little hard to get really groovin until the full time huntin starts..... and if i may,(not to insult your wisdom and professionalism) suggest that ya get that apprentice of yours pumpin just a couple more pounds!??!?! if he can get them pipes a buldgin just a little tighter he would be what most should call WOW!!! you gonna be given him the go ahead ta win down ta hebron on saturday!??

She is doing really good. I am enjoying hunting her. One thing I have noticed about Beth is that she has one heck of a nose on her. I know that it runs in her blood.

"CONGRAT'S"

To the combo of Matt & "Patch" for winning the "2009 Wisc. Winter State Championship Bench Show" at the Jefferson county Fox & Coonhunter's club at Hebron,Wisc.

I must admit as I was a watchin the group for the overall win I was swelled with pride lookin at the dog & one of my son's & that was before the "Pick" was made known!!

He has been placed purty on the plywood twice so far & has two best of show's including one from the Zone III championship with "King of Show" to boot & the other yesterday.

I think that's three year's in a row for us now with first "Bum" & now his & "Drum's" son "Patch".

"BUT", the best part of the whole day was listening to them after it got dark!!

"YEP" !

"MORE GRINNIN" !!....LOL!!

Snow's workin on gettin outa here but a long way's to go other than on top. We blundered around in some awful deep stuff last night. Although I missed out on the full effect's of most of it I did witness the sweat pourin off Matt & Dan when I picked them up on the road !

Sumthin about waste deep on the north slope ??

Thank's for the compliment's in regards to "Patch's" standin purty accomplishment & the true meaning for havin them knuckle bender's to begin with. "BUT", mercy if ya could just hear him load up on the wood !!

Quick,no second guessing,roll into a holler ringin poundin chop,bone, confirmation & size. Thermal suckin,no non sense type on his way to becoming a real coondawg.

Just exactly the hound I been waitin for the way it's goin so far anyway. Time will tell though........................Like the rest !
