My thoughts

PKC hunts are tougher in my area. Reason being most of them are UKC grand nts, no reason to hunt them anymore so they go PKC.

With that being said if PKC hunts were like UKC and had different divisions; opens, champions, silver Sh and Gold CH drawing out in there respective catergories there wouldnt be much competition. One gold champion or silver champion is not going to drive and hour just to hunt against one other dog. Its not worth it.

I will continue to hunt and support both.

I could care less what you believe. By the way you said you couldnt believe I hunt much pkc because i said at least it takes plus to win in UKC. Hey dummy that was just stating a fact. UKC could care less about circle or less minus. I went to a UKC hunt a couple weeks ago and got beat by a dog that has never seen a PKC hunt, last night at a PKC hunt I had 350+ on 2 coons in an hour hunt, the closest thing to that in the whole hunt was 75+ out of 22 dogs.
Well it looks like you need to come on down south and hunt then.I promise its different around here.Seems I'm not alone on the fact.I dont know where your from but it must not be the south.

if more ukc hunters would take there minus instead of wanting to circle everthing this rule would change.

ga dawg, did you say i need to come down south and hunt . i live in middle tennessee , how much further south do you need me to go? that was a moronic statement. i hunt against people and dogs like ronnie nickens, every night. 10 0f the top 16 dogs in the state are within 45 minutes of me in either direction, including the #1 dog. i hunt these roughass southern hills every night so dont lay that "bring your dog down south and try it down here" crap on me. i aint no greenhorn in this sport.

I agree - some do win more in a month.....

But you don't how many PKC hunts she was hunted in. If PKC was all he hunted her in, then I'd say you're right she hasn't done well for a years worth of hunting. Rmember she was out for a while raising pups and hunting UKC, getting ready for the big show. I'd almost bet that she was only entered in a hand full of PKC hunts just to quailify her for the World. Hunting UKC, PKC and maybe a few club hunts not to mention all the hunting you do to get 'em ready and keep them in shape for the two World hunts is time consuming. So $800 is not bad for a dog that is not hunted solely PKC. No doubt she is a coondog or she wouldn't be where she is.
