The breeding on my pup doesn't have much Clover, just a little shot of it on her daddy's side, I'm not sure about the mother though as I only have the puppy papers yet.

I'm sending out some PM's soon to some of you guys that have replied.

I've seen the mouth's all over the board. Remember, that there are more ancestors than just Clover in any dog of today, so there are a lot of influences.

I have dogs that are predominantly bawl/squall on the ground. I don't have any trouble hearing them, and don't qualify them as over poweringly LOUD. They are "distinctive" and easy to pick out in today's world...where a lot of dogs seem to sound the same...

On the tree...I've seen chop mouth dogs, I've seen short bawls, and I've seen some that it was difficult to determine when they were treed because they keep bawling just like on the ground.

I've seen them that use their mouths very sparingly on the ground, I've seen them that use "way too much"....

But for the most part.....bawl/squall on track...short bawl, or long chop on tree......Loud enough to hear them, but different enough to pick out.

I don't know much about Meadowbrooks Wildfire other than he was a littermate to Wild Card. I don't think he was in the stud pen for very long. If anyone knows anything about him, I'd like to hear it!

Hey just wanted to say I like my Clover bred female, first one I have owned. Also wanted to say I really love the breeding on your hounds Spanky. Its a small world check out the pedigrees on my two hounds Rocky and Dot. I never thought of them as big game caliber bred hounds.

good looking pedigree on them pups Richard. You would be suprised how well the clover blood works on big game. Great trailing ability, solid accurate not tree happy hounds and plenty of grit when its needed.

Got a friend going to breed his female to a nice male direct out of clover.Ive had 2 clover hounds myself.Very accurate and fast hounds but Clover puts the trash in em too,oh yeah they are also uglylol.

Back in the day, I bought two coonhounds. One was a Clover pup and the other was a leopard pup. I hunted these two until they both died here. I bought the the Clover pup for my daughter, from Tony. I beleive the Bell dog made NTCH right after I bought the pup.

I bred him to a female and she only had one pup, she was also Clover bred. Sold the pup to Jeff Hasse. If I ever decided to coon hunt again, I would be headed to Pennsylvania.

Beagles are my thing and sometimes I get to here one even tree. LOL

I don't know much about anything, but I see a few dogs are always popping up in several lines and I think they are the founding fathers to most every line of walkers. Bozo, Finley River Chief, and River Bend Flag. I am no expert on any one line, but every walker seems to have these dogs in their pedigree somewhere. I really like Bozo breeding. You will find Bozo in all Clover and Coma Bred dogs.
