Well boys, I didn't get any good tree footage of our History pups last night. On the first drop we cut Ringo (History & Squaw) and Willie (History & Bell). You will see that when cut, there nose is on the ground. Ringo opened a couple of times and Willie just kept on going in the opposite direction. We cut loose Willie's mom Bell and Ronnie's redbone, Hanna to give Ringo some help. Hanna and Bell got out in front of Ringo, and then the trailing was on! Ringo was right in there with them. Willie wasn't to far behind then he fell treed. I took off to see what he had. He was treed up on the river bank on a broken log. By this time Bell and Hanna were treed, slick. Ringo still had his nose on the ground away from their tree. We cut them again and they treed a den. Ringo was at the tree but not excited about it. Then we put up Bell and Hanna and cut Squaw and my other walker, Junior. We treed two more dens. Ringo trailed right along with them but not to much at the tree while Willie was out doing his own thing. The last part of this clip is from the las drop. We cut Bell, Hanna and Willie. Willie opened a few times on this track , was at the tree but no mouth. He comes alive when the coon hit the ground!!!
We had a decent hunt just the pups didn't tree much but they did hunt.

She is out of my female which is some backyard breeding. She goes back to Rat Attack on top and Tar Heel Nitro on bottom. Her sire and dam are just PR dogs

I have hunted a lot of Sunrise pups ,and now a lot of History pups and I cant tell the difference , so Zach you might be right about History taken off where Sun left. If he can reproduce just half as good as Ole Sun that would be awesome

I turn loose on 2 feeders. He hunted pretty good for his first solo run. The furthest he got from me was bout 120 yards. He did that in 3 different directions. He acted like he smelled something at one point but he never opened. I will try again tomorrow night before the snow hits....

REPRODUCER TO THE TOP

Posted by cctreeingwalker on 02-12-2014 05:52 PM:

Last night, I took Willie and Junior (my 2yr old male) out and made a couple of drops. Ole Willie was looking good. He actually struck and trailed, got hung up at a woven wire fence then Junior came in got through the fence, trailed another 100yd or so then Willie got through and caught up to him, they both loacted and started to tree when a lady came out of her house and chased them away. I hope that doesn't set him back to bad.
