Happy New years JJ. My pup is still growing and starting to bark a lot Tom lol me and him are going to have to come to a agreement before long. He is a stubborn guy but he is a smart pup.

Hunted with Sam Passwaters 1-1-14

Sam was nice enough to let me come up and hunt some big coon last night. I sure did get a kick out of hearing a 20lb + coon crash out of the tree! Tank and Hannah both hunted really good and me and Sam put some boot leather in!

21.4 pounder (Huge to me! Sam said it was a kitten!haha)

You must be right Tom because Sam kept telling me they were little, I was ready to run when we shot the one out, I thought a bear hit the ground, but Sam just walked over and stood on it like it was nothing!

Jordan - The coon was a little red / orange, probably from staying in the ground some I would say, some say they get that way if they have been laying in a den for a long time too. I don't know either way, around my neck of the woods we have a lot of sulfur creek from old strip mines so if we get a ground coon to go up they are usually a funky color.
