Glad u got smoke Shane he is the real deal dollar x babe worked great that cross will probally produce some of the best hounds that ever smelled a coon track joe knew what he was doing when he made that cross we talked about it a long time before it happened and it turned out just as he said it would early starting independent pups with braines and big mouths. I can't wait till Chris's skeeter pups get old enough to see how they compare to this cross I suspect it iwill turn out the same way. Marty Vincent has a female pup out of dollar x sackett jr female that is splitting with coons at 8 mos old only been hunting her a month. He also has the Dixie female that is dollar bills mother that was a great cross he will be breeding back to dollar shortly it will produce some world beaters I truly believe.

Guys my buddy took a dollar pup to Florida last week to hunt down there he had never been hunted 8 mos old but had rn loose a little he called me and said he went hunting first night out and is opening on tracks some and treeing a little it really looks like dollar is crossing on about anything the mother to these pups is heavy Finley river blood. He said he was louder than any pup he had ever heard and had more grit than any doge has saw he said he could kill a coon so fast it would make your head spin and he has only been hunted 4 nightS so far.

Posted by POTOMAC on 03-22-2014 06:03 AM:

50 cent!!!L split trees tonight under the meat!! Babe xdollar pup owner text me and said on the 3 rd drop fifty was split from his other female and sitting under the meat!!! He would tear a cage apart at 5 months old the first coon he saw and like most he was hit with a lot of bad weather this yar and I think tonight was fifties 3 or 4 th night in the woods!!

Posted by bowling on 03-22-2014 02:05 PM:

Got another 4 inches of snow today!!! This weather sucks !!! **** lil babe is there just need a good night where coons are moving !!! I wanna hear her burning some coons up!!!!! And throwing that screaming locate and rolling it over to that never ending hard chop that just doesnt quit!!!!saying I got the grease over hear away from any and everything else!!!!!!

Posted by stowe on 03-25-2014 11:33 PM:

Potomac you know that's right I can't wait to hear her to.yall have had some bad luck with the weather this year that. sucks for them young dogs.Do you think that will have any effect on your coon population or offspring ?

Posted by POTOMAC on 03-25-2014 11:44 PM:

Time will tell but I would say a bunch propably starved to death and as far as off spring all I know is a couple boars I knocked down at the end of the season around the 15 th of march were swollen and rutting!!! Well don't know if the late breedings will effect the ones that live I guess it just depends on how early next winter starts and if it's as rough as this one!! I sure hope not !!! I missed more nights this winter hunting than I have missed in the last 10 years combined!!! But these pups are really just getting to the rite age to start pushing them hard this spring!! Sure hope you get a chance to ride over to Sullivan next month and take the money with old smoke!!! It would be his to take I wanted to have a couple over there. It really this winter screwed that M!! Give me a shout Shane if you can go!! 571-233-5819 thanks for hunting our pups.

I'm trying to get off work for that I'm also in school for crain operating. with my job that really sucks to at the age of 42 to have to go back to classes but that's just part of it.I really like Smoke and i think he would do real well there well see what happens.

Posted by bowling on 03-26-2014 02:13 AM:

Hey joe my weather is bad too little joe is on the verge he is starting to figure things out you are right they are just at the right age for spring. Todd said Bobbie was the best hound he has saw for her age she will be pushed hard this year she is so fast I don't see how a dog could get a tree on her and I think she is 22 mos old and was never hunted hard till lately and she is turning the crank. There are some nice pups out of dollar around local that is really starting to shine I know I keep saying this but hopefully he will be collected very shortly just gonna take him and leave him for a few days every time I plan for it something comes up sickness or business.
