i dont see too many people on here trying to claim they have vaughn BRED dogs because thats totally impossible as elberts been gone almost 26 yrs now!! but what we do have is vaughn BLOODED dogs and that is a fact.my dogs for 20 yrs now have had nothing but the best vaughn blood i could find.when elbert died,the line of dogs he had for more than 40yrs didnt die with him... nuff said.

Yes, They were still registered as English at that time. It was in the late 1940's when they established the Bluetick Breed.

He just bought Badger. The one he got at Autumn Oaks is out of Ben Franklin. He is doing pretty good also...

we're settin' full at the moment on males, Badger was the final piece to the puzzle...... I worked 8 months on tryin' to buy him, the jury is still out on 3 of our young males if they'll make COONDAWGS...... Mr. Adkins and I have already discussed it..... I'll hunt them hard this summer and shortly after our kill season starts, we'll make the necessary decisions (If you know what I mean)...... 2 of the 3 females I have here are COONDAWGS, they need no help, the 1 yr. old gyp, Sassy(Billy II X Sally) is coming along nicely........ Of course, there's Ellie Mae, but she was something special from the beginning!! I truly love our sport, I think our sport has alot of VERY good coondawgs in every bloodline, I also enjoy training young dogs and watch as they develope....... Our plan is to hunt the hair off of these young dogs, make sure they turn out to be coondawgs, and then start on another batch!!!!!LOL Talk to ya later and have a great week, God bless!!!!!
