What beautiful weather we have been having in NC. In the low 70's all week and now the good Lord is blessing us with some much needed rain. Isn't it wonderful to know that God is in control. I read an article in the paper about a "atom smasher" in Switzerland. It seems that some scientist are attempting to show the big bang theory and how it happen. I don't see what is so hard for people to understand and believe that we are made in the image of God by God. I don't know about them repeating a so called big bang theory but I do know that one day soon there is going to be a trumpet sound and our Lord is going to be seen in all of his glory. Praise God and rejoice for today is the day of salvation, but tommorrow is the day of judgement. God bless and have a wonderful day.

A DETERMINED PURPOSE

ANYONE WHOS DETERMINED PURPOSE IS TO BECOME MORE DEEPLY AND INTIMATELY ACQUAINTED WITH GOD CANNOT RETAIN THE RIGHTS TO HIS OWN POSITON OR PLACE...OR BE ANXIOUSLY PREOCCUPIED WITH WORKING OUT THE DETAILS OF HIS OWN LIFE.THERE MUST BE COMPLETE AND UNQUALIFIED RELIANCE ON THE {LIVING LORD}. As Christians we need to read the following at least once a month. Understand that the verses are real and the threat is as real today as anytime in modern history.

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints

We all need to be mindful that the devil is doing all that he can to stop the church from spreading the message. The devil will do all he can to destroy the Church. The bible tells us to stand, we don't have to do anything more than stand and God will do the rest. We just need to be willing to stand up for God and today we see the church is being attacked from all angles of society. So be mindful that the above verse is happening today and will only get worse. I posted this yesterday and I want to expand on the particular verse above. Look all on this website and you will see people arguing amonst themselves of things that doesn't even make sense. I am guilty of this myself. But God is telling us that fight is not with each other as Christians. We have a very real and powerful enemy that we need to engage in combat. Satan will and is using variest techniques to engage us in spiritual combat. Pay close attention to "wickedness in high places." One thing we can see more plainly today than any other time in recent history is wickedness in high places. If you can't and you want to see it first hand go to Washington D.C., your state capital, even your own local government. As Christians we must draw a battle line today. A battle line is simply where we decide to stand and not be moved. Remember when T.V. was fairly clean. No cusing, nudity, and sexually explicit shows just simply wasn't allowed. Now I turn on T.V. and we have shows aimed at our own Children are simply to dirty for our children to watch. What are we doing as Christians? We are letting Satan cross the battle line to much and without engaging him. Now I am no match for Satan, you are no match for him either. But God has told us how to win the battles:

Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Let us stand on the faith of God and what he has always told us that he would do. He will be there with us and the bible tells us that satan and all the demons in hell fear our Lord. They know who God is and are fearful of him. Put on God's armour and the devil will not be able to move us. Now we cannot wait, we as Christians must act now and draw a battle line. Let us stop being accepting of worldly things. The world tells us it is alright and we comply because we have grown acustom to not wanting to offend others. If we say it is alright and do nothing what are we as Christians telling the world? Let us start standing up boldly for the Gospel and spread it no matter if you step on someones toes. That might be the last chance someone has to hear about Jesus. God bless and if you are lost please Brothers and Sisters turn to Jesus before it is to late.

1 Cor 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
1 Cor 4:4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

Read the above passage and think about what God is telling us thru his word. As we as Christians are spreading the Gospel, walking the daily walk with Christ, and being in this world we are constantly being judged and often times more Christians are more closely judged than any other people (I believe we should be). Now God tells us not to let this bother us and that we should think little about it. God even goes a step farther and tells us that we should think little of how we judge ourselves. And we can rest assure that a day is coming soon where every knee shal bend and tongue confess, the bible tells us this. So let us stand boldly for GOd and be about spreading the Gospel of Christ. I have heard Christians say "Well I don't like to talk to people about Jesus because it might scare them away from church". A person cannot be part of the church if they don't know and accept Jesus. It is just that plain and simple. Now if a church is running as a social club and doesn't care about winning the lost to salvation then people can be part of a social club and not know about Jesus. THE CHURCH HAS TO BE ABOUT WORSHIP AND SPREADING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. So let us as a church stand up and be bold and not worry about what others think or even our own self and do what CHrist leads us to do and not worry about anything else. God bless and remember today is the day of salvation and tomorrow is the day of judgement.

What do you think about when you read the above verses? Can you see the comparison between our own country today and the ship that Paul was sailing on? Read the first verse again, "all hope that we should be saved was then taken away." Doesn't our country seem to be headed down a path that seems hopeless and that all is going to be lost. You know this election year is very important to our country but understand that none of the candidates that are running for office have the answers for our country. Only one contains the answers and that is God. Now it is a dark time in our country and rougher times are ahead just like Paul tells the men on the ship. I mean think of this here is a prisoner that is going to see Ceaser and he is facing death and Paul is telling the men on the ship to "be of good cheer". Just like Paul was doing we as Christians need to be telling the good gospel so that people in this trying times can be of good cheer. I don't know for certain what is going to happen down the road, but I do know that God has blessed this country for a reason and that he has a plan for this country and everyone in it. Now just like the story above if you want to make it and have eternal life you have to stay on board with Jesus Christ. You see all the on the ship had to do was stay on the ship and not one hair on their head would be lost. Our journey in this country is no different, all we have to do is stay on board with Jesus and we will have eternal life thru him. Now think about this and pray about our upcoming election. Don't pray for a democrat or republican to win but pray that God will lead us to vote and for the canidate to win that is going to do his will and help turn this country back to God. God Bless and if you are lost without Jesus today you need to get on board because I can assure you that you will go to hell without Jesus in your life.
