We took Riptide and Doc tonight and hit coons but not much on tracks. We did make three trees again, two with coons and one lucky persimmon tree and no it was not there! Our last dump Riptide went about 75 yards and caught a big old boar on the ground, around a few big oaks and paw paw trees. I guess we caught him having a snack! Doc got all he wanted on the one on the ground but he tried. LOL! Trying to get the pups out at least a night or two a week for right now.

Took a little hunt in Kentucky last night and the places we went the coons were not moving the best. One old feeder tack and treed a big Oak and could not find it. Next dump nothing and picked them crossing the next road. Third dump Riptide hit and a very short race, not much fun for Doc until we did some training. Tied him back and walked one down and the light came on, but he is not as bad as he thought he was but he stayed in with a little help from Riptide. Need some rain and better tacks for the young one. They are still feeding on the Oaks and persimmon hard!

Well it looks like Roy Clifton's Grand Nite CH Mad Dog Tree Rockin Robin we leased is coming in a little early. Looks like we will be breeding her next week. Robin is a tough little hound with personality and a TREE DOG! This should put the pups being born around Christmas. We are planning on having the pups UKC Per., PKC & CHKC Super Staked with a good birth date. I have added a short Pedigree on Robin and will be adding more a little later. I also added a couple pictures of Robin's tree style!!

Hunted the Ohio State BBOA Championship tonight at Jackson Ohio with Riptide. Had a good hunt and a great guide. Riptide ended up with 675+ and was King of the Hunt and High Scoring dog of the hunt.

We took Riptide and Doc tonight and the tracking was terrible. We have to get some rain before the pups get a real chance on running a descent track. Calling for rain the next two days. Coons are pretty well in the oaks now.

Took Riptide and Doc tonight and was a descent night. Hit four tracks, seen two coons, one den and one that should have been there! The one good track we hit Doc and did pretty good running and treeing, got a short video going to the tree, can here how he is treeing before we get there, no hanging up coons or encouragement, he is catching on and hope it continues, 6 months old. If he keeps heading the right direction he may get a few more pictures taken! LOL!

Short sound track of Riptide and Doc be fore got there, was still about 150 yards at the end. Doc voice is the raspy one. The old man was showing him how it was to be done!

We got Grand Nite CH Mad Dog Tree Rockin Robin breed today to Riptide and will one more time. We feel that this will be a very good cross as Robin has some very good traits and has a very solid background. This will put the pups due around Christmas.

Well we are done here in Indiana until Nov. 8th as our running season is now closed. Hate to leave the pup up for a few weeks after getting him started but surley he wont go brain dead! Don't get the two week shut down prior to season and hope one day this will change. Have not skined a coon in years and not worth anything. Laws have changed a lot over the years but love to see this one axed!

Yes pups will be U.K.C. Performance., PKC and CHKC Super Staked. Both Litters, Misty and Robin both will be Reg. in all three kennel clubs. Misty is Due Dec. 3rd and Robin is Due right at Christmas. If you have any other quetions feel free to give us a call.

Well the first night of Indiana coon season started of about as good as could be expected. Dark, overcast with a slight drizzle and cool. We took Riptide and Doc and we made six trees with coons and treed once up under a root wade in a creek bank. Good tracking and did some training, as Doc is about to figure out which end he needs to grab first as we had a live wire for him tonight on one that walked down the tree and then down a broken off snag. We messed with a pretty good while on this one and it paid off, we think! We just need to get a few more to walk down for Doc, it seems to get their attention!

Took Riptide and Doc tonight for three quick dumps. First dump we treed right at 750 yards and treed a big oak and could not find it, lots of leafs yet. Second dump about 250 yards and treed one on a Persimmon tree and had it. Third dump right at 300 yards and treed a smaller scrub oak and had it. Doc did a pretty nice job on the one and was real proud of him for 7 months old, dont have to hang a coon in a bush for him! Going to stay in the next two night due to deer season coming in, can hunt but will let the boys have their fun the first weekend and not get them stirred up!

Well we had a bright one tonight . We hunted Robin and Doc and did pretty good for a night like this. We ran four tracks, two coons, one big den and one that should have been there but was not! LOL! We did hit some hot running tacks was a good thing as Doc is needing tracks. Got a descent video but I'm having trouble getting it to load, good job for Corey tomorrow!

Corey finally got the sound track of Grand Nite Mad Dog Tree Rocking Robin and Mo Doc treed last night across the Anderson River. Could not get to them until we drove around but they were knocking it down pretty good, Ol Robin was putting pressure on him! Doc seems to like hunting with the ol girl, got him kenneled up right next to her and Riptide. Doc is 7 months old in this sound track, he is the one with the loud raspy voice. We are hoping he keeps heading the right direction, just a little progress each trip! We are truly looking forward to the Riptide and Robin cross around Christmas!

listening to that brings back great memories of hunting Robin.
She will be a great mentor for your pup.
That pup is loud! Great mouth and treeing great too.

We took a shot hunt tonight with Riptide and Mo Doc. We hit two tracks and treed two coons and called it a night. It is dry and hard tracking for the young ones. Doc is getting the picture and is making improvement in one category or another each night.

Took a little hunt last night and treed a couple and called it a night. I have (9) days in row off for vacation so I will be able to hunt until I'm ready to call it a night. Doc is starting to look more like the old man all the time.

Made three dumps tonight and treed on three trees with coons and one tree was a persimmon and it was not there, hard to believe! Doc on the first drop rolled in there about 275 yards and loaded up. We hurried to Doc and he had one on the outside of a den, got it right before it hit the hole and just about dropped out on Corey. This was the first coon Doc had treed by himself, (7) months old, no record but not bad for a common old blue pup! Second dump they both treed a slick persimmon tree and one on the outside on a big oak. Third dump Riptide got deep with one by himself, little too much for Doc on this Drop!

We just made our 4th and final drop of the night. We hit coons right off the bat every drop, never having to go over 425 yards before hitting a track. We have made 5 trees, three had coons and to big old dens. Doc ( 7 ) months old split from Riptide tonight and did it right, he had a den but the main thing he stayed and did a nice job. Doc has a real nice locate for a pup and from we can tell he is going to be up on the wood most of the time. A few pictures from tonight -
