We found him not long after you left. He got moved over to the new place along with all the hounds and the rest of ma and pa's things. Kinda strange them movin outa the holler after 16 + years but the place they got is pretty nice even though they are close to the road!

By the look's of it "Latch" & "Dude" look dang near identical. Wish "Dude" had the huntin that "Latch" is gettin but he will. Makin a mighty fine housedawg with his dad & grampa. He's got such a personality it's infectious. I really like the dog's that really like me. Thats pretty much all of'um that get to stay here. Personality is dang near as important to me as the rest of it.

For some reason I was inadvertenly booted friday when the forum crashed I was told. Because of that I also lost all my PM's,everything!

Hope your'e feeling better, had problems with my ticker before, feeling my mortality more and more. One reason I'm coming up to the cottage in Nov for coon season, not missing stuff anymore. Looking at Bum's ped sure brings back memories, competed and pleasure hunted with alot of them...loved Oxy, Toad...etc. Will be calling soon.....Coe.

Your hounds may go into shock when they grab ahold of them northern swamp dwellin coon compared to the ones they gnaw on now!

Gota keep that potential wolf food thing in mind. Not sure of course if they've invaded your zone but just something to keep in mind.

Checked the maps of the Wolf home ranges up there. Scary stuff. What the heck have you they done to the northern zone. Make it hunt at your own risk. Why not transplant some Lion, Grizzlys, Polar Bears and Nazis. Should be OK just roading around the lakes. May stop by on the way back if we survive.

"Sadies" winnings everywhere shes been entered is proof of the "CONSISTANT" type of "COONDAWG" she is. The fact that I've seen her go a few times is another to me. Some of the dogs shes out "COONDAWGED" is yet another.

I know it's too soon to tell for sure, but I think Saddie looks like she might be a momma. Just looks a little fuller and teats looks a lot more prominent. I'll keep you informed. If you check other _KC site, we're pictured for making final 4 on Sat. at added purse hunt in Jefferson- actually had high score early with 425+ and split. She treed 2 coon by herself to beat the Betty female that leading Ill. state race, so it wasn't easy.

jyd- Thanks for the good comments. I'll keep you updated, whenever I know anything new. We scored on 3 coon Sat. night ( 2 by herself) to win. She don't mind being by herself with a coon and that's what it takes to beat these walkers.

I guess backseat will work!! As long as Im in the car LOL!! and not walking LOL !! You are right Saddie has proved she can win anywhere and in any company...By all rights !! She is a COONDOG !! I know these words are used alot around the country and especially on this board but Saddie is the real McCoy !! Whats sweet about this cross is that its a Coondog to Coondog cross !!!which aint always the case in breeding hounds this day and time... No matter what the breeding is they are both Coondogs, but I will have to say Im not mad about their breeding !! LOL !!

Our "Kandi" female is deffinately gonna have pup's. Lookin forwards to these. Unfortunately I doubt she'll have enough all blue females to meet the requests but we'll see?

Kinda excited,been a long time since we've had any all blue pups born in our care. New place means a new whelping box. This one is gonna be of the fancy model. Windows & the whole scoop.

The doggy condo gonna be in the shed which was built to resemble a box car some years back up town & used as the phone office I think for a while. There was three or four of them. This place was built by the dude that had the Silent woman when it was hoppin 15 years ago & he moved it out here & fixed'er up to look like the house.Got everything except heat rite now but if you nestle down in a good sleeping bag You'll be fine. Got my winters worth of grassy bedding piled in there. Don't get much more comfy than beddin down on that stuff. 10 outa 10 dogs surveyed agreed
