Enjoyed another trip to Pappy Flower's and join him
for a trip to his good friend's place for a hunt. As
usual had a great time cutting up and talking about
our sport.

We hunted one dog each with nearly a full moon
with some great looking timber and treed a slick
or two along with a couple coons but ole Pappy
ended up walking about 850 yards to get his nice
young dog with a one eyed coon off a tree. lol

( I think the coon had two eyes and ole pappy
simply can't see as good as he once could but,
believe me he wore out his friend and myself
before the night was out although he had to
walk by himself to his dog's last tree while we
waited.)

ONE TOUGH MAN.....

Gayle how's Ole Engine Red doing his brother is starting to look real good I just got him back from Mississippi I sent him up there while I was bottle feeding these wild dog pups I sure hope I never go down that road again that was a job but all 6 pups made it and they are big to be 8 weeks old we need to set up a hunt to let you here Ole Boomers mouth he has a real big bawl on track big long locate and a real nice tree dog but man he is a lot better track dog and than he is a tree dog tho and he checks the tree several times b 4 he settles down and trees but with age he will pick up on that He is independent likes to get by his self will hold pressure and when hunted with a dog he comments faster he is a 1st to 2nd kind of strike dog and a 1st to 2nd tree dog I really like what he is doing but his mouth is out of this world big big mouth that want stand on his head when running a real cold track he has a real good nose.

LOL, David all it is that Ole Pappy has gotten so used to treeing them real quick pop-ups in all them hot spots lately and when his dog has to dig in to get one treed Ole Pappy is surprised that the dog had to go so far but, not surprised that he would.

Believe me, Ole Pappy is like a good Diesel engine with a lot of miles on it but just getting broke in and a young man would have a time out walking him.. LOL
