This mornin' at 10:30 down at Watson,IL. seen a coon headed to corn field---tonite comin' home at 6:30 seen sow and two kittens comin' out of tin horn headed for cornfield. About time for me to run the pups. Anybody do any squirrel?

I seen two coons the other morning squirrel hunting at 9:15 am..well the loving woman already cut the pie..just when I was going to box it up and send it the only squirell I did today was eat some.....

Janet gettin' along better? I believe that squirrel huntin' is better when the leaves are gone---and with a GOOD DOG!!!!!!!!! That Wiley was a good squirrel dog but he didn't want too stay put. And Snoop she just runs 'em till they go up a tree then she's done. Some of 'em thin out and I will check out a good one--like you had in Roofus.

if we could get Bill to post some pic.'s...he's got good ones...coon ended up drowning old roofus..seems like something aways happens to the good ones..blasto done in my coma pup..man for a year old I couldn't ask for a better young dog than he was..I truly believe he was as close to a natural that I ever seen.first night in the woods at 5 months old he tree two coons by himself ..he never looked back from there...I still get a sick feeling when I talk about that dog..Janet is doing arm exercises..pretty painful right now..

Morning men. It is nice outside. Breathable air and no humidity. Going to the woods Wednesday night. I can't hardly wait. Rex I hated she cut that I had my heart set on ice cream and cherry pie. TD I guess you are gone to work. Linda what happen to those Blackberries?

Mike, At the moment they are in the freezer. Going today to see about getting more. Trying to catch up on gardening after being so busy last week canned tomatoes yesterday. Not enough hours in the day to do all I need to get done. It is alot cooler here today going to try to get as much done as possible. Rex maybe you could teach TD to cook! Have a good one guys. Still could use some rain. That raspberry pie I made last week sure was good too. Mike hope you have a good time tonight.

I took this morning 230lb.s of cans he gave me 74 cents a lb. because I had over 100 lb.s ..170.20 bucks for the cans..had 84 lb.s of number 1 copper wire..he gave 3.35 lb.s for that..thats was 281.40..for a total of 451.60 bucks..I was satisfied with that.got the place cleaned up a little..and made a little money so I aint complaining...still got a couple hundred pounds of cans left..

Cans down here are .80 a pound. Batteries are $10.00 a piece but I don't know what copper is selling for. Any way that was a good haul Rex. Now go out and buy that lovely woman of your a new outfit. Take her her and dine her.

Black Berries and Cherry Pie

You guys are making me hungry, throw in a squirell and gravy and I would be set. Glad to hear wife is doing therapy it make a huge difference in long term. but can be painful.

I have done it several times, tell her to hang in there on therapy.

Tony what do you think about running some dogs saturday if weather is good?

Mike,we stopped on the way home ,she ate a pound or two of shrimp..nothing wrong with her appetite..Thanks for the kind words Jeff.she is getting better but as you know it takes time,,she tries to rush it a little..seen 3 or 4 coons ran over on the old route..one laying there in front of darrell warmans,he looked bigger than my beagles..another over by deadmans curve was big too..another laying where you turn to go north to paul phillips place..I think TD used to snag afew across the road there when Rickelman had it..

Rex how is the river? Can you fish it now or to low? That woman of yours knows what to eat. Fried shrimp is really good. Did you get full? My buddy went last night and made two trees and had a good corn field race which broke down. They are trying to get two dogs ready for the Super Stakes.

yea a guy could do good on the flatheads now fishing the deep holes.I my try a little later in the week when it cools down..Bionic stomach is fuel full..love them blistering hot corn field races..sure gets a young dogs nose full of coon...

I all ways love a good corn race. Rex do you do any hogging? I did some back when i was in High School but that was the last time. Loved it. Never knew what you was going to get a hold of.
