Are the sunspot lights still available or can you only purchase the sunfires?

We stopped making the original Sunspot about a year ago. It did real well for us but when the frosted cover became available for the Sunfire it made the Sunspot obsolete. The frosted cover on the Sunfire makes the beam look just like the Sunspot with the same weight but much longer burn times.

bacon creek plotts

In a time when good service is hard to get, I feel that I should send this note about Mike and his company. I have owned one of his first Sunspot lights for about 2 years and developed a problem with it. I called Mike and he right away said for me to send it back to him. I sent it to him on a Friday and received it back on the next Friday. Thanks,Mike for your fine and speedy service. That is something to be remembered if you all are thinking about the Sunspot light.

Thank you very much. When I built the first sunspot light I did it to develop a better light for myself. I had no intentions of turning it into a business. Its not the easiest thing to do and I use to think it would be better to go back to work for someone else, But comments like this make it worth while. Thank you
