a short 30 yard drag I laid last night. I don't plan on doing much of this but it was nice to watch his natural ability at such a young age. very excited about staring this young prospect this season!

I have not started any training on my pup yet, but he has been running loose since I brought him home in fear of him blowing his mouth out in the kennel. So far he's treed the cat 3 times and a squirrel all on his own natural ability. ... I probably will start him a little sooner than I do most pups!

three months and two weeks old.

after hunting my older female a few drops
I decided to go back to the house and grab my 3 month old pup. I cut the young pup and the female together in a harvest corn field.they opened up about 120 yard in the timber and both treed with the meat about 270 yards from the truck.

chuck coats and I drove around to the other side of the big ditch they crossed and walked into them. (noticed both were a little wore out when we finally got there).

couldn't ask for much more!

Thanks guys glad I got him finished the rebel dog got a nite ch. Win and placed on the bench marking him a bench ch. Betty ll got a nitech. Win also an there mom coat bawl creek blue squirt got her last win making her a dual grand also winner winner chicken dinner!!!!!!!.

I'd be interested in the number of pups,and number of titled dogs out of Banjo also.I've heard of several winning in the hunts.

tack's first solo coon!!!!

my 4 month old tack pup has been out twice with my female and I have been pretty impressed with him thus far..

tonight I decided that I had a couple hours before I needed to get to bed so I took tack out solo to see what would happen.

took him to a cattle pasture that butts up to a corn field and big timber.
the first 5-10 min after I cut him, he spent trying to figure out why I didn't cut my female for him to follow but eventually he made his way into the timber and started hunting. shortly after, he opened. (see first video clip).

he went about 100 yard in made a big loop into the corn field and then back towards the edge of the timber. he then located with a long bawl and started treeing. (see second video.)

to say I was excited was a understatement. he did far more than I have ever had a pup do at his age.
my battery on my phone got so low that It would not let me continue videoing but I was able to snap a pic of the coon on the out side.

who knows how good he will turn out in the end but I think it will be a fun season finding out.

An 1 htx he has one female that has a1 st an a2nd and my MTN dew female has a third place. The rebel dog out in wv. Has three ntch.wins on him and the betty2 female has two ntch. Wins

Thank you Russ,for the info.According to the calculator,Banjo is a heck of a good reproducer.Is Banjo going to be a performance sire for 2016?
