Hey

I just picked up 5 large boxes of old Full Cry, Cooner,ect. The oldest being a 1944 Full Cry. One of my friends had them sitting around and wanted to get rid of them so I took them. If you ever need some more old mags just hollar. I posted a couple pics a couple days ago. Theres a case of old Blue Tick mags in there also. Next time I run into you Ill bring all the old Redbone ones along for ya. If theres a certain one you are looking for Ill look and see if its in there. It will take a couple days to go thru them since there is so many. Talk you ya later.

Going in for an MRI on my neck today.

I'd be interested to see if some of the pictures of the Redbones have ones that wouldn't fit the standard for color, etc.. now. I know what the ones looked like around here, from descriptions, but it would be neat to see some from different areas or ones like Jungle Jim, etc. Probably be hard for me to tell ya what I want would just have to look at them and see. I just now got in, ate and got the critters checked on, had a long day at the VA. I'll call ya tommorrow going to bed for now.

to go thru all the mags today and will let you know which ones I think you would be interested in. Would you like anything besides Redbone issues?The 1944 issue is real neat to look at and read and is in very good shape. .Ill have it saved for you. Ill have looked at it enough. Got the PM box all squared away deleted a bunch but it'll fill soon again I'm sure. Glad to here Ol Dozer is finally getting to do what he was meant to and get out and run those bear. I'm going to have to keep up with how he does on the big cats. That's something else I was always curious about them running. Mine don't care much for bobcat normally but I think a mountain lion would be something they might really go for. Of course I didn't know how they would do on bear either and look how good that's worked out. I guess they just go after what you tell them to and stay with that. I had never had them run anything but a coon down here but that was all I put them on and urgued them to get. I guess their just naturally straight on what you tell them to run. Of course it has been years since I had one out of mine run a deer, really, but other than that they go after what you tell them to I guess. And here I thought they were just straight coondogs. Get him going after Cat and I guess I can call them quadpurpose hunting hounds that can win in the shows too. Dozer and of course Kid Rock is the one staring at the bear. It's funny how bad he hates them bear.

is the one Im making a coffee table out of. Going to do a full mount with the bear on his back and the glass top will sit on his legs. It will be a cool conversation piece. Sending you a pm also.

NEW DOG BOX

Well I've been busy and finally finished something I've been wanting to make for quite some time. Got a Dog Box with storage for my 4 wheeler so that now I can carry the hounds in it without having to lead them and carry out the coons for me so I don't have to go back to the truck all the time since I'm not supposed to carry over one coon with my disability, from Iraq. Glad I had my wife around to load it up for me. I've been working on this the last several days and just got it finished. I am so excited to have this asset. Dave that bear table sounds super cool. I'll PM you tommorrow.

Quick Tree

Took NtCh Kitty out for one last round before she gets put up to have her pups, in the next few days. She and her pup out of the last litter are some hard hunting dudes. I saw Holly (the Daisy x Bo pup) several times. Kitty was gone and so was her little pup, was her first time to the woods. Kitty got in there struck, ran an old feeder track, worked it out and came treed. Mr. Coon came rolling out. Kitty jumped in and Holly did too. So these pups will know what coonhunting is like before they even come into the world.

Took a little doing but I got a strut I put together myself to keep this thing up and level in the back. Sure was handy the other night to pull right up to where I was hunting and only have to walk a few hundred yards to put the coon I shot in it.

Got a new camera!

Here's my new ride, 2011 Subaru Forester. It's got all kinds of bells and whistles but what I like is that it's All Wheel Drive and gets about 27 MPG so I can afford to drive it where ever I want and have time, with these hounds. I've had this a while but me and my wife got a new camera for Christmas so I could finally take a decent picture. Just wish I'd had this camera before now. Now all I have to do is sneak the camera out to the woods hunting, to test it out at night.

Don't let the size fool you. Steve can haul all his dogs in it at one time, I've seen him do it. When he takes a road trip, he don't like to leave any of them behind. :-)

Definately, using this to pull the 4 wheeler. Got an old boat trailer I'm fixing to cut down to be just the right size. Of course I've still got the old white farm truck but I don't have any ramps for it yet. With the box, on the back of the 4 wheeler, I'll have to be careful of where I run it in there on the truck though.

Hey Chad, may have to holler at ya before to long then. My wife needs a new one but she's the finances person of the family and I haven't talked her into it yet. I've got a 1 hour and a half drive to work everyday so I had to have something dependable. Her drive is closer but she's about to kill the one she's got. Last time I got her to agree to a new vehicle the motor and transmission blew and the starter went out all in one day. Didn't get much for that one.

Here's my big project lately.

First off I dug a water line several hundred feet to the pond and in it while there was still water in it. This way I would put the automatic waterer at the right place. I took a water trough waterer, tied it off, with a 6 inch pvc pipe over it, to protect it, and to keep the water from spraying everywhere. I run a water hose some to fill it as you can see later when I know I'll be around to watch.

Then I went over and set up the whole bottom end of the fishing dock once the water went down this summer.

Then I came back and rented a trac-hoe. I dug out the pond to about twice it's normal size and turned the water on which is hooked to my well. It's been a slow rise since and still not to the top yet but it soon will be if we keep getting these rains. Sure thankful for any rain we get after a whole summer of probably less than 2 inches.

With Kitty and Daisy laid with pups I took Joe and a (Dozer x Kitty)male I'm holding for a guy. Didn't hit any coon. Several other things they didn't run but Joe said the coons have apparently been all over my coon feeder. He was smelling all over and smelling in the air alot but there were none around.
